I was under the assumption that this came ready to hang but did not have the wooden pole. I don't even know how to hang it.

Dont buy this chair, total RIP off. There is no stick or the top rope that you hook onto wherever your hanging the chair. Nothing but what looks like a miniature hammock. What the heck?
