It’s not that hard to put on like the other reviews say. If you just start on one side it’s really easy to get the pads to stick around. They aren’t too thin and feel great. It hasn’t peeled and doesn’t feel rough at all!

Watch a video to see how to install these pads, these notes won't make sense otherwise. A couple of important points - they fit snug so you have to tug on them pretty hard to stretch into place. You're going to worry that they'll tear - they won't. Also, inserting a finger into the pads from the "inside" and pushing outward to get the lip of the pad to slip into the groove on the headphones. Use the force!! or at least SOME force. They look as nice as the originals and feel great.

There's not much to say here.The installation is kind of annoying, but if you follow the YouTube tutorial (link comes in some paper in the box; otherwise search for "AHG Hyper X The Cloud Stinger Ear pad Installation"), it's fine. They fit perfectly on my HyperX Cloud Stinger.They're a bit stiff compared to the original cups, but I've been wearing those for a year now. The material of these replacements seems to be similar, so I think they just need to be broken in. I expect things to be back to normal after a week of use.

There isn't much special about these other than being a good replacement option for worn-out ear muffs on your HyperX headphones. (or any other compatible headphone) They feel identical to the original ones that come with the headphones. My only problem with it, and this isn't the companies fault, is HyperX makes it rather difficult to swap out ear muffs. The ear muffs have a ring in the back of them that has to insert in the oval of the headphone. Now, I had to watch a tutorial on a technique to do this, and that shows how difficult it is. I recommend starting from the top of the ring, and slowly moving your way down when installing this. It might not make sense now, but when you go ahead and do it, you will see what I mean.

These ear cushions do exactly as described. They fit perfectly on my HyperX Cloud 1 headphones, and are very comfortable to wear for long hours. The only issue I had was with the installation process, but that's a fault of the headphone design itself and not with this product. I recommend watching some videos on how to install these, as it can be tricky and feels like you're going to rip them trying to stretch them over the headphones

Old ear pads started flaking. Ordered new ones. These went on easy and feel great. Looks like new headphones.

I read some of the reviews that talked about how hard these were to install on the headset and found myself confused. I can only assume that these individuals must not have installed a steering wheel cover before. I was able to install each piece to the headset in a total of less than five minutes with each side properly secured. The pads are a hint thicker than the original pads on the HyperX Alpha headset, but that adds to the overall comfort of them. Slight breathability issues can make the pads a bit uncomfortable in a warm climate, but that would be the only negative that I have experienced so far.
