not accurate
It seemed to work properly when I tried it in August. However now (January ) when I have tried it gives persistently low readings (35 C or 35.5C) which is no good as I am having chemotherapy and it needs to be accurate.I have an axilar one that seems to be accurate

Really can’t comment
It’s not the item that’s a problem. It thinks I’m dead but so does the expensive one at work . So I wouldn’t like to make comments Very easy to use

Every home should have one!
I had to phone my GP the other day because I was feeling unwell. One of the first questions they ask is "do you have a temperature?".Without a reliable accurate thermometer, how can you tell?Using your hand to feel your forehead isn't really a reliable test (if your hand is cold your normal forehead might feel hot to touch by comparison). This one is easy to use and easy to read. Comes with instructions that explain how to use it and the best places on your body to check your temperature. Another upside of these electronic thermometers is that they're not made of glass and mercury so not going to be dangerous if accidentally dropped or broken.Even though you only need to use it if you're feeling ill or unwell, and I therefore hope I don't need to use it at all, it is very handy to have one, just in case.

great thermometer
Great little thermometer and was quite simple to work out, just needed batteries and could be used straight away! The only thing I would say is you need to be very close to the skin for it to read properly but apart from that its a good little literature weight product

Infrared temperature thermometer
Very easy to use and gives a good near accurate read out when taking temperatures. I noticed it does give a slightly different reading each time but only by 0.1 or 0.2 degrees. Overall very pleased as it saves putting other types in your ear.

Very responsive thermometer.
This was the first infrared thermometer ever owned. Replaced our usual one you put in your mouth. Came well packed very quickly. No batteries included but takes 2 AAA's. y daughter had a cold/flu and we were tested for Covid ( due to having similar symptoms) so we used this immediately upon arrival. Turned it on pointed it at her head a pressed the button for a result which we got. It turns itself off so put in back in the packaging. Done. Had it out of the box next day and worked great. Also worked a few weeks later when my husband got the same cold and thought he was dying :0. Worked then too with his slightly raised temperature. Nothing to complain about. Very reasonable price. Sturdily built. Reasonably large - i.e. larger than the old one we had so need a bit more space to store it.
