The shape is not 12" along the top and the bottom. The top is 12" across; but, the bottom is only about 9 " wide. So, since there are two, we will cut each one to fit them together to make a size for the basket we need. Don't get this item if you think you will get two of a size that is 12" across along the top and the bottom. The shape tapers down to about 9" along the bottom side.

These are horrible quality and misshapen. Size isn't accurate either. Only bought them on Amazon because I couldn't find any at the store.Happy for whoever is buying these and posting good reviews, but that tells me the product may be inconsistent.

These are very small. Ended up cutting up both to fit a 1/2 basket.
