Got this for an older wall AC unit that no loner has custom filters available. This package includes 3 separate filters, each in it's own bag. This is good so you can save the other ones for future use and they will stay clean and sealed. The filter material is a open cell foam, sort of a plastic material not soft spongey material. It seems durable and should be rinsable for reuse.I just used scissors to trim the filter to the size needed. It's easy to cut with normal scissors but you have to try to stay in a straight line. Once it was in, the AC is running well. It will need a few months to see what kind of dust is accumulating, but anything will be better than what it had before, which was nothing.

Used this item for our window unit. Works great and works as intended. Actually can be washed out and cleaned so your able to get several uses out of it. Great price.

I use these to grab the worst of the dog hair to keep it from clogging up my electrostatic filter. Unfortunately....it's 18x24, and these are only 15x24w, so there's a gap. But....they still grab the majority and are easy to rinse/dry and reuse.

To attach the foam filters to registers I use magnets to hold them down. On the intake, I just leave it in front of the HEPA filter when I change them. In expensive and helps remove the dust left from the climate changing jet spew we do NOT want in our skies.

Good product, great price. Works more efficient than the filter that came with the air conditioner (that one also fell apart!).

I have a German Sheppard in the house. She sheds like crazy. I trimmed and installed this filter material on all 3 of my wall A/Cs to keep the hair out of them. I also made circles to put on the back of my floor fans to keep hair out.I have not washed these in water. I just vacuum them once a week to keep most of the hair and dust out of them. I'm sure if I washed them they would come much cleaner, but I don't.

versatile filter for air conditioning unit or tape it over a fan for a dust catch. Youd be surprised how much crap this will pull out the air attached to just a box fan.

Works just fine as intended.
