So far so good! Got this last week and installed Friday night. It’s Sunday morning now. Battery went from critical to now brand new and it’s running great.It was a lot easier than I thought it would be, but here are some tips:1- “Set it and forget it.” If you don’t have a heat gun, like me, then you can use a hair dryer like I did. But it has to be hot and it takes several minutes to weaken the old glue. Set it up to blow on your phone, shut the door, and do something else for 5-10 minutes.2- Dont scrape under the old battery. I tried to pry it up. Luckily I only slightly damaged the (hopefully / apparently) cosmetic black sticker under the battery... but I came close to severing wires. Don’t do that.3- Dont re-attach the wire guard shield metal plate until you clean off the old and replace with the new adhesive seal. I had to do that twice. The adhesive seal needs to go down on the back Half of the phone Without wires sticking out.4- Check three times before you close the case when done. I had to hurriedly re-open the phone when I forget to re-attach the wire plate mentioned above (after having to take it off again when I reattached it too early

So far so good. My original battery started swollen and popped the screen up. This replacement is good for the price and quality. Running time for my phone is roughly the same. It comes with all the tools and a screen gasket. I would recommend you also get a heating pad/bag. I have been using this for a about a month. I will come back at a later date to update it’s service life.

I needed a new battery because my original one actually got punctured. I figured since this was fairly cheap, that it would do the job. It actually is better than I thought. The battery lasts as long as my original battery when it was new. I am super happy with it and the tools that came with it worked great. Just followed a video on Youtube and it was a pretty easy swap. Only downside that I found was minimal, but in the beginning I received a notification that the battery is not Apple authentic which is fine because it isn't theirs, but after a couple time of me deleting the notification, it eventually stopped showing all together.So I super recommend this battery not just for the price, but the fact that is lasts just as long as the original.

Took us almost an hour to try to install the battery. The adhesive installation was so poorly described in the video that we weren't able to put it on the chassis of the phone. We had to clean the connectors twice before the phone finally screen lit up again and when it did the phone wouldn't charge. Now I'm left with a phone that has an even worse battery than before. Stuck at 0% and doesn't charge. Would really appreciate a refund because I don't want to go through that process all over again.

A week ago my phones batter woke up and bent the screen and pushed it mostly off the frame, so it was either new phone or get the battery replaced.Although skeptical about taking apart a waterproof glued together phone, the video that they direct you to made it as simple as taking apart the older iPhones with that one extra step of applying heat. I personally used a hair dryer till it was uncomfortable to hold and it came apart no issues.The directions and video made the whole process about 30 minutes start to finish, had every tool I needed in this kit and my phone is back to new. Now I’m not 100% confident in the waterproof glue, I placed it as the video stated but I’m just going to not test that feature.I’m so pleased with this kit my other iPhone X also 3 years old, the battery states its down to 82% and I have another kit on the way to fix that one.

Installation isn’t too bad, just go slow and watch some videos before. Make sure to cycle the battery and do it right.Pros - Great battery life, great price, nice tool set and worksCons - Battery gets stuck at 94% a lot (unplug and plug in and eventually it reaches 100), Weather gasket with kit was horrible in my kit (pealing back blue plastic the gasket mushed and tore before I had a chance to put on the phone)Buy a good gasket kit to save your time and effort.Overall pretty happy.

Great tools, easy installation, but adhesive for screen isn’t sticky enough

It works really well, “just make sure you disconnect the battery first and then the screen and after you remove the old battery connect the battery first and then the screen because other wise the touch part of the screen won’t work.
