I decided to buy this product because of the many good reviews. Especially one from a customer who has Xfinity as his internet provider - I also have Xfinity. Since the customer said this product was working well with Xfinity, I decided to give it a try. Boy... did I suffer to get this thing to work... I tried and tried several times. Every time I tried, I had to reset the device. Although the installation was successful, the device wouldn't connect to the internet. After trying for 2 days... voila..... it worked.... not sure what i did differently. I watched several videos on Youtube on how to install this device, and did exactly what they show on the videos. I am writing this review a few minutes after I was able to get the device connected to the internet. Will come back to give an update on how things are going. So far, it's working. Will change the star status if I don't encounter any trouble in the next couple of days.

I started working from home during the pandemic and my home office is on the other side of the house from the wireless router. We have a wireless printer and for some reason it is almost impossible to print due to the signal being so low. I found this at a great price and decided to give it a try. Easy to install and literally a full WiFi signal in my office now! So happy!

This product comes out of the box ready to use. I am not a techie, but I put it in the outlet in the basement where I have been working for the past several months due to COVID. It seems to be a good signal repeater at first, then stops.I had my husband configure it correctly once I lost signal. Worked for a little while, and then lost signal again. I will be trying it directly into the ethernet cable as soon that arrives. If there is a significant difference then in signal stability, I will update my review.UPDATE!!!!Okay, my husband is great at working the internet stuff. He was able to configure this using an Ethernet cable from our router UPSTAIRS so that now I have wireless internet in the BASEMENT!!! I am so happy now, because due to stay at home orders, I am working from home, and i have an office/art studio in the basement. Previously, I would get kicked off every day, and MULTIPLE times on Sundays when families in the area stole all the bandwidth for church services. This Sunday, I didn't even get a notification on my meeting that I had a slow speed, or unstable connection. I didn't have to make the dumb joke that I was kicked off because of church. Definitely makes me appear more professional in my meetings, when as the host I don't get kicked off of the meeting!

This thing works as long as the repeater is a good distance from the closest wifi signal. In my case, the repeater is 100'+ from the wifi source.More exasperating is when I have to make a repeater change (ex: change the SSID name), the repeater will not respond to 192.168.10.1. (Frustrating!!)

One of my security cameras wasn't getting a good enough wifi connection, which resulted in poor connection to the rest of the system. I was missing important events and getting poor recordings of goings on, outside my home. I installed this range extender, reassociated the camera to the extender and the problem was solved. I now have a great connection to that camera, full access to all of it's functions and peace of mind that my home and my family are better protected. It was very easy to set up. And, very quick to sync with my home network. Good purchase. Five stars.

The extender does what it is advertised for. The signal will be extended. Of course, as with all other extenders, the extension of the signal may result in a slight drop in speed as both speed and signal can never be extended. I have a nearby garden shed and wanted to have my signal extended to the shed. Now the signal reaches to the shed and I am able to operate my echodot there. The extender does become hot, but I think this is within the normal range and does not poise a risk.

Yea it was easy to set up, but it doesn't so anything. The signal isn't any better at all. I've noticed it's actually slower when I use the booster. I bought it so that I could plug a computer into Ethernet without bringing my router upstairs but it didn't work. When I do use it, my wifi says there's no internet, then connects, then goes back to no internet over and over. This probably happens every 15 to 30 seconds. I don't really want to go through the hassle of returning it but I wish I didn't buy it in the first place. I may buy a more expensive one, but for now, I bought a 75' Ethernet cable and I'm just gonna deal with the cable running through my house. I wouldn't recommend it.

My apartment is shaped weird, and I can't get a steady internet connection to the back of it. My WiFi calls would always cut out, and scrollingdown pages took some time to load. This repeater has made it successful for me to do my basic web browsing and WiFi calls with no issues/drops. It is easy to setup as well, nothing compared to wiring/configuring a router.
