Forehead Thermometer for Adults Infrared Thermometer for Fever (FT118)

I have discovered that this thermometer is off approximately seven tenths degree. I have used a digital under the tongue and then this and it is consistently off. So now I do a math calculation with each use. Still works, just be aware of the shortcomings.

I ordered this thinking that because it was pricey it would be a good item. It wasn't!!! it was missing the little spring for the battery. When I tried to return it they kept asking if I could fix it. I said absolutely not!! after weeks of emailing them to give me a refund they decided I could keep the item and only issue me half back. I am so disappointed!! the item does not work I wanted all my money back. You can have your junk back!!

I do not believe i will receive the thermometer. You can keep it!!!!!!!!!

Package came 2 weeks before delivery was expected. Temperature off by eight tenths of a degree. Tongue temperature said 97.6 and this temp read 96.9. I will just keep this in mind when I take temperatures. So far so good.

I am an elderly person and the directions were so small I couldn’t read them! Without them couldn’t figure out how it worked!

I'm in the medical field. was thinking of finding an alternative to non-contact temp taking for patients. its about 1 degrees F off. always a bit cooler than real life.otherwise, nice design, easy to use.

We put new batteries in and it does not work.

I have ordered nearly 200 products from Amazon in past 2 years and never previously written a review this critical of any product.... But I spent $80 for a product that effectively does nothing.I have received the "thermometer" approx. 4 months ago and have checked forehead temperature for both my wife and myself. Many attempts have delivered only 3 "temperatures" displayed" - Most common is 97.3, a couple of times I have seen 97.5, and if you simple hold this "product" away from the body I see "Lo" displayed.This is such a faulty product that it is incredible that it can legally be sold as a "thermometer".
