I no longer have the package the plate came in. The bottom of the plate measures 4.4 cm x 4 cm. The opening for the plate on the tripod measures 4.4 cm x 4.2 cm. The plate fits the top of my tripod exactly, the width of the top of the plate is 6.2 cm

Q: Im looking for the center mount that fits the mx3000 but works with a spotting scope. Will this work with this center mounting bracket?

I am not totally sure but it fits the tripod perfectly.

It fits the MX3000 so I think it would fit the 2000 also.

Q: What are the dimensions of this plate?

There are a couple different plates depending on the tripod used. Mine is app. 2X2.5"
