10QBP0228 Microwave Magnetron 700-800 Watts 4.1kV REPAIR PART FOR AMANA, ELECTROLUX, GE, KENMORE, MAYTAG AND WHIRLPOOL

Although the part was listed as being a substitute for the original,it didn't fit.I had to bend the rear mountiong flanges upward to allow the part to fit in the confined space,also had to remove more microwave parts to allow it to fit in the correct position to be able to secure the front mounting flanges.Because of the poor fit and required alterations,the magnatron now makes a vibrating,buzzing noise-but it works.

Part malfunctioned in only two weeks. I have returned it for a replacement, but can’t get in touch with anyone at express parts direct, to ensure that I am getting anew part. They did get the returned part on 8/2/2018-10:05 A.M.
