If the Snuggle Puppy isn't available in the color/breed you want, set those wishes aside. This isn't about you! Your new puppy isn't going to know the difference. We got the Dalmation (all that was available at the time) for our Goldendoodle puppy. He LOVES it. We dropped it off at the breeder the night before we picked up our puppy so that it would have the scent of Mom and siblings. Our puppy loves this toy....just remember to turn the heart off when not in use so you don't run the battery down. We've had our puppy for a week now, and he goes right to sleep. I just put him in his crate and he patiently waited for me to start the heart. Now he's resting with his head on his Snuggle Puppy. Totally worth the $$!

This helped my new puppy settle right down, especially for the first few nights at home, with so much to adjust to, and being away from its mother for the first time. The combination of the warmth, furriness and the heart beat was just right. It really made the adjustment easier, and I got a good night's sleep too!

my black lab puppy had a hard time sleeping at first. this really helped her. and she only needed it for about 2 monthsshe still has it but we dont put the beating heart in it anymore. she treats it the same as any other toy now

It really helps with a young puppy. My new puppy was very content to be in the cage at night. The beating heart I think was the key. After she was trained, my puppy began to play with it. She eventually destroyed it...but after snuggle puppy had served its purpose.

We got this for our 8 week old puppy and she still loves to bring it everywhere we go a month later. The batteries inside were corroded and didn't work when we got it but she still loved it so I gave it a 5 star. Plus it always calms her down so... Whatever works!

Great idea but not sure if our new puppy responded to the heart beat or the heat. We forgot to turn off the heartbeat so of course of the battery died and we haven't replaced it. We also only used the warmer pouch once. Nevertheless, we do often find her sleeping on it in her crate like a pillow.

We bought the Snuggle Puppy for our new 8 week old chocolate lab puppy. Had it for her first night home, it helped her to settle down that first night. Now it's her favorite toy - she plays with it every day and takes it into her crate when we go out. Great purchase!

It's a great idea, the heartbeat dog, but my puppy wouldn't settle down long enough to experiance the effects of the heat and heartbeat. I'm saving the rest of the heating packs until it gets a little cooler so he'll actually WANT to snuggle up to the toy. Right now, he usues it for chewing and throwing around. But I assume when he finally understands what it is, he'll love it. The puppy is only 8 weeks old, so everything it used for chewing.
