A reboot I actually liked
I don't normally like reboots--they always seem so desperate and the artwork is always over the top action and I can't figure out what's going on in a scene. In Millenium, the artwork is reminiscent of the Silver Age Legion--but, obviously more up-to-date. And the story line is optimistic and the Legionnaires are the youthful, slightly immature teenagers (not the adult 'teenagers' they had become). Even better, each character was distinct in voice as well as manner. I really enjoyed this.

Love the series
Brian and Ryan outdo themselves with this great story. I loved it. A must read for lovers of comics. Read it now.

A Lot to Catch
The latest reboot of DC's LSH. Beautifully illustrated with well-scripted main characters. Falters a bit in storytelling with wonky paneling and too many players onboard. Continued in a second volume.

Reboot is less than I hoped for
I am an old LSH fan from many years ago, like, the '80's. I have enjoyed most of the reboots because I like to see each generation reimagine the legend of the Legion. The New 52 reboot was not well done, and I did not care for this one either. I like the idea of Jon Kent being the Legion's new Superboy, and the "Millennium" issues lead up to the new series was interesting. The execution of this LSH reboot is just not that good, and feels a little disjointed. I don't mind new ethnicities for classic members, but they all lacked substance and depth. I will not likely read any further issues. Long Live the Legion...

Is this actually the first "Legion" comic? No, ...
Is this actually the first "Legion" comic? No, it's actually the first comic called "The Legion of Super-Heroes". The Legion story is a reprint from the mid-1960's. It also has Tommy Tomorrow in it ?!?

Legion of Super-Heroes gets a reboot of mismatching shoes that are uncomfortable to wear.
“This bold new reinvention of an iconic DC franchise unleashes fresh, new reader-friendly stories!“Nope. This isn’t “reader-friendly”. Its a giant mess. The dialogue is painful as so many characters speak in typical ‘Bendis-garble’ that no one has a distinct voice. The jokes are unfunny millennial hipster jargon. It goes around in circles, miles per minute, and yet somehow goes no where. It makes me want to physically shake the author and editor screaming “GET TO YOUR POINT!”Too much on the plate, not enough thought went into this reboot of Legion. Its a lot like Bendis’ Uncanny X-men, just a lot going on all at once.Art is ...subjectively bad. Cool enough designs for all the rebooted characters, and many action panels for a space-opera action storyline, but it also is chockfull of awful facial expressions that convey a distinct soy feel. And its just jarring when the artists change from page to page. This isn't the product of organized, evolving storytelling. Its a clustercuss. This is not a recommend, I’ll be donating this one if I even can suffer thru to the end.

Disappointing
Bendis is no longer a story-teller. Now, he is an empty pseudo globalist that uses beloved and familiar characters to virtue signal his hollow political beliefs. The art was captivating, but everywhere it was tainted with Bendis and his woke preaching. It was a chore to finish this graphic novel, but I chose to do so simply out of appreciation for the artwork and the characters which his plot development attempted to destroy. Bendis may have his fans and I used to be one, but that was long ago when the focus was on the character and not floating empty political points.
