Therm-a-Rest Basecamp Self-Inflating Camping Sleeping Pad

This is a great product and is very comfortable while also being super easy to use. The valve system they added is a great addition to the sleeping pad and helps you control the stiffness of the pad even in the middle of the night with ease. The product is also made of high quality material and will last for years to come. Would highly recommend.

I used this sleeping pad for probably a total of ten nights so far so I cannot speak to its long term durability, but at $100 this probably one of the most comfortable (and not to mention warmest) sleeping pads you can find from a quality manufacturer like Thermarest. The only drawback to this pad is its weight and bulk, it can be used for backpacking but it is quite a hassle trying to pack the pad down to a size where it can comfortably be put on your pack. That being said, this pad is not designed for backpacking, obviously its name (Basecamp) suggests that. If you are looking for a 4-season pad that can do double duty for car camping and backpacking (as I was) this pad will work, but at a significant weight and convenience penalty.

I use this when going on Scout campouts with my son. Too big for backpacking, as expected, but great for car camping. Much more comfortable than my backpacking pad, but also thicker. If you have the room to bring it, do so!

It's comfortable and had plenty of area for 5'11" and 190 lbs. It's not compact, more of car camping pad versus a backpacking pad. If you are more interested comfort than packablity it's a solid choice.

Nice self inflating pad, not the most compact, but durable. I'm glad I went with thermarest as compared to some of the cheaper options. I've had lesser pads go flat on me.

Good product. I never used it outdoors, but it should be a good product.

Only used once so far on a recent overnight canoe trip. One night on sand, one on gravel. Pleased with its easy inflation, thickness, and air retention. Hope it holds up: will update if it doesn’t. 4/5 because none of these are truly comfortable. This is as close as I’ve found.

Hält was es verspricht und ist gut zu transportieren. Größer als die Lufmatratzen aber ebenso leicht. Luft rein & raus ist auch kein Problem ... Ventil ist auch gut. Ich hoffe es hält viele Jahre. Kann es empfehlen und finde es besser als die ganzen günstigen Produkte.

ce matelas en version large pour un confort optimal (196*64*5 centimètres) est un excellent choix de camping en quatre saisons, pour protéger le dormeur du froid du sol, qui sans cette protection et son isolation, aspirerait la chaleur du corps la nuit (R Value 6). c'est un matelas épais et auto gonflable avec une valve anti retour qui permet de terminer de le gonfler avec son propre souffle sans que l'air ne s'échappe quand l'on reprend sa respiration. cette version large est relativement encombrante (65 centimètres de longueur replié) et lourde (1590 grammes), mais c'est un choix de bien dormir confortablement et récupérer d'une bonne nuit de sommeil. le matériau est robuste et procure un soutien stable.

某社のエアマットを使っていたのですが、分厚い割にはふわふわする感じがして、いまいち寝心地がよくないな、と感じていました。冬タープ泊をしたくて、性能面でR値表示のあるものをということで当製品を購入。意外に薄いなと思っていたら、これが全然違います。まず、寝心地が全く違います。結局、厚みの問題じゃなかったようです。もちろん、地面の冷たさも全く伝わってこず、快適に眠ることができました。天気さえよければ、タープなしでも眠れそうな感じです。ややワイドなのも寝返り時にはちょうどいい感じで、お値段もそれほど高くなく，満足度の高い製品です。今年買ってよかったもの第一位になりました。
