Too tight in the waist & I didn't know it had a slit.
Size chart only show hip measurements, not waist measurements. I ordered both the medium & the large. They are both too tight in the waist. There is hardly any difference between the two. Also, neither the description nor the picture shows that this slip has a very long slit. I am returning for a refund. I did want to say that I really like the color & the fabric, the 27" length is what I was looking for. I haven't decided if I'm going to reorder. The price is quite reasonable & I could have the slit sewn up. If I do reorder, I don't know if I need an XL or an XXL.

Very Beautiful Slip!
This is a beautiful slip! It fits as expected, so the size medium fits like a medium. I've washed mine in the delicate cycle (in a lingerie bag) several times and hung it to dry and it still looks beautiful. I'm going to buy another because I like how it fits and it's beauty.

Wrong item
I was surprised that I received item sooner than expected but it was the wrong item. I ordered a size L maxi half slip vintage style and received slip shorts instead! The slip shorts were a size L but way too small. The material is made of cotton like material and has no stretch to them. Too much trouble to return so I gave them away. My daughter liked them. But I was very disappointed that I received the wrong item. I was looking forward to receiving the half slip.😞

Not quite it!
was tight in the waist. I may just be too chunky because the slip is great otherwise. Will definitely keep it.

Choose size with caution.
The slip fits exactly, with no extra space. I am concerned in case it shrinks in the wash. It feels nice though. Another note on size - they got special midget models to show the length. I'm average sized and it is more of a midi length.

runs very small
this item was ordered by my wife as an XL. It appeared to be an XS...it was only 27" around the waist!!!

Good slip for the price. Fit well. No noticeable see thru. I am looking to buy the black one when it comes in stock.
