So so cool! There is absolutely nothing NOT to like about this alarm/radio/portable light show/recording/sound machine/sunrise/sunset clock! It does pretty much EVERYTHING! And every single setting from light brightness to volume of alarm, to volume and types of alarms is completely and fully adjustable to your personalized preferencesl Amazing! Wonderful!Especially for this price. It honestly houses about 4 different gadgets in one small unit. Ok, ok.....you DO have to completely and carefully read instructions pretty well to have it do what you want it to do (or at least I did!). Randomly pushing assorted buttons just left me confused and frustrated. BUT I have to admit that the instructions are very thorough, clearly and simply stated, and once I figured it all out I was so impressed! Even the FM radio wire works so much better than I had anticipated. I live out in middle of nowhere and it still pulled in a variety of stations! The best part for me is the gradual brightening of the lamp for an alarm. This worked so well! And this process wakes me up gradually & "naturally" so I'm not pulled out of a deep sleep and feeling irritable. Seriously, this product surpassed my expectations so much I'd advise everyone I know to get one! You will not be disappointed. (My kids LOVE the colored lights...I can't keep them away from the thing!)Addition: I just now realized the sunset setting also has 4 setting modes, and an adjustable timer to 1 hour to aid you in drifting off at night! (Guess I didn't make it fully through that instructional booklet!) Tears of joy are being shed! Exactly what I needed! The gentle wave sound is my absolute favorite. My new bedtime routine is here to stay!
