I tell you what, I did not know what exactly to expect when this arrived but I am falling more and more in love with this blanket. You look at it and mentally recognize it as a blanket, yet it's just so funny to pick it up and feel the weight. The reason I bought this was to help me sleep better at night. Since I was a child, I've always enjoyed sleeping with a heavy blanket because I like the weight, not the warmth. Oftentimes I sleep with pillows on top of me for the extra weight and surrounding me like a pillow fortress. Obviously, that doesn't work so well as an adult that shares a bed with her husband.This blanket is equivalent to a twin size which is perfect for me on our queen-sized bed. It has been about 4 nights that I've slept with it and I LOVE IT. I have this extra sense of comfort and have been sleeping much more peacefully. Furthermore, I've been waking up feeling more revived (likely due to the quality sleep). I recommend sleeping with the soft side towards you and put this blanket underneath all of the other sheets/comforters. If I get chilly throughout the night, then I just pull the sheet and/or comforter over and you're perfectly toasty.Thoroughly pleased with this purchase!

If you are a first-time purchaser, I would recommend to buy a weighted blanket below the recommended weight-to-height scale. I purchased a 15lb blanket and even though the descriptions were spot on and everything was as described, this weighted blanket was just too heavy. If you sleep on your back and sides, it takes some physical effort to roll over in any direction and after a few hours, it becomes a huge nuisance. It was a gift to my mother, who tried it, then passed it to my father, who then gave it to my sister and then I finally returned it. I recommend sticking to between 5 and 10 lbs if you're a first-time buyer.

I will admit, I was skeptical about the whole weighted blanked trend. I was also curious enough to give it a go with a twin size to try it out. I very quickly found out that I slept better than I usually do. Absolutely no tossing or turning, no waking up in the middle of the night. I fell in love! Then...I went out of town. Wouldn't you know, my husband tried out this magical sleep blanket and he's hooked now to! I had to order another one to save both our marriage and his life.

I love this blanket so much! It’s very warm so I will use it through winter and swap for a cooling one in summer. I used to struggle with sleeping, taking just enough pills just to help me drift off but not knock out. This blanket helped enormously! I don’t know what it is about it, but the subtle pressure is perfect. Haven’t taken a single sleeping pill in weeks!

This is a great blanket for the value. I have been using it for a week now and my sleep has been improving. I am no longer waking up and rolling around all night. I suffer from both anxiety and depression and I find much comfort from the blanket. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a weighted blanket because I didn’t know if I would like it. I read the reviews and decided to go with this one and it did not disappoint. I will be buying an additional one for our camper.

My daughter loves it. She says she sleeps better with it. It is very soft on one side, which she likes when it is cold. It’s more of a slick feel o the other. Not like satin, not t-shirt like, just like plain cotton material. She likes that when it’s warm. Overall fantastic.

Gives me a perfect night sleep! I truly sleep through the night when I used to wake up several times. Not to hot if you keep the fuzzy side on top. I love the fuzzy feel! Love the weight distribution. Would purchase again!
