Works good for me.
I always go to the 1 star ratings first before buying. Of course, there are always "1 star ratings" on most all products. I don't know about the other ratings, but this kit works great for me. I am very satisfied with the purchase.NOTE: Always "tin'' your soldering tips before using. If in doubt how to ... there are many youtube videos on that subject.

Very good product. Very good value.
Very good. Works wonders for the price, and definitely gave me a good reason to junk my butane soldering pen (same price). The temperature control is accurate within about 5 degrees at 425°f. The long needle tip doesn't work very well, but the regular and chisel tips work extremely well. The desoldering pump works very well, good suction power and easy to dismantle/clean. The solder that comes with it is good for small solders, like a wire to an atmega pin, but your gonna want better solder for bigger gauges. All in all, a satisfying purchase. Note, do be careful putting pressure on the head as it's hot, it could break the ceramic heating element.

Very easy to use product sold dirt cheap and delivered lightening fast!
This soldering kit is amazing and the temperature is spot on! It's very easy to catch on to and use and the price and so affordable. The only thing I would change is to have an case to store it in, but it all doesn't take up much space at all. I highly recommend this product and seller!

It's barely okay
This is more for a 'I didn't bring my good soldering station with me but I need a quick fix' it does the job. Sort of. Temperature controls are not good. The included solder didn't even melt evenly. The tips also leave a lot to be desired. I'd say have this as a backup or one to keep in a travel kit but not a primary solution
