1/2 Gallon Tiny Countertop Trash Can, Push-Button (Pink)

I got this for my desk top in my home office, i didnt have a lot of room for another trash can on the floor and I dont generate a lot of "trash" while working at home that does not go in the paper re-cycle box. So this small trash can was perfect. It is plastic, so if you put something yucky in there you can wash it out I guess. I have not done that yet, but I dont see why you could not submerge it in the sink with dish soap. It is totally plastic. It is a nice color pink, which is what I wanted. You just tap the top and it pops open. Not sure what "easy to remove" means in the star ratings unless they mean the lid, which I have not done yet. Anyway, I would buy this again if needed.

I was looking for a small but affordable compost bin, with a lid, to go on the counter next to the sink. I decided to order this one because I liked the push open/close feature for tossing my compost scraps in one handed and keeping fruit flies out. I ordered the green/yellow color unsure if it would be big enough but I was so happy with the capacity (1/2 gallon) and size that I ordered 2 more in purple/blue for my minivan to be trash bins. This is an extremely small trash bin, and not for everyone! This was just what I was looking for because everything in my kitchen has to earn it's counter space, this is small, convenient to use, holds a surprising amount of waste all while looking good. I am very pleased with my compost bin, pleased enough to buy it again for it's intended use.

This is surely meant to hold complstable waste, but I have found it useful to hold all tiny stuff for normal trash. Food wrappers, cheese slice holders, Kerig coffee pods, or coffee grounds, small paper scraps, all the tiny stuff. Looks clean and in place on countertop.

This is by far the best addition I've made to my kitchen counter. Easy disposal of all those little trash bits that come to you when you're cooking or working in the kitchen! The top does come off really easily, but pops back on just as easily. I haven't been able to find bags that actually fit it, but the 1.2 gallon garbage bags I'm using work OK.

I use this tabletop trashcan with pet-waste size trash bags (dog poop bags) which fit perfectly. It's very small (note the dimensions) but sturdy and cute. I keep it next to my guinea pig's enclosure and scoop poop into it to reduce the number of times I have to clean the whole cage. It closes tightly enough that there's no smell.

This is perfect if you need a very small trash can. I’m using it in my closet for used lint roller tape and whatever thread and crap you might need to throw away in a closet.

Recycling in South Korea is serious business. This tiny trash can is perfect for the counter top. It is required that all food scraps go into special separate bags, this can is the perfect size. The lid cuts down on odors and it looks very nice and neat. Will recommend to all my friends who move to Korea.

Added "got lint" in vinyl to this, for collecting lint after each dry. Very cute. Perfect sized. Has a grooved area in back, perfect for hanging with 3m strips.
