Feels Delicate
Looks great. Not too big either, perfect for slim reading glasses. However it feels fragile, maybe a bit too thin.

Sleek, lightweight and firm. Works for me.
I've been using this case for about a week. I wanted a glasses case that would be compact and lighter weight than the black, hard, clamshell my glasses came in. I was looking for one that is top-loaded, like the semi-soft plastic case I recently resurrected from several years ago, but otherwise, this one fills the bill well. It is an ounce lighter than my hard cases (the top-loader is even lighter by more than another ounce). I measured my glasses before I ordered; I thought the other case by the same company that is all brushed aluminum would probably be too small. Even in the microfiber pouch that came with them, my glasses fit in this case; without the pouch they kind of rattle around. I also like the look, though, as someone pointed out, the bottom half is all black--part of the visual appeal of the design--but the case can still disappear if you drop it in the car or under a restaurant table, for instance, which I've been known to do. I hesitate to use my usual solution to the problem--bright, reflective stickers--because they'd spoil the look, but reserve the option. They might well stay on this better. I'll wait to see how durable it is, but I had none of the issues a couple of people reported suggesting very poor workmanship or design. The lid is perhaps a 64th of an inch off flush with the base when closed, which I wouldn't have noticed if I weren't examining it closely, and there are a couple of tiny spots where the aluminum shows through the black coating at the edge on one seam, but, again, you have to look for it. The small bump created under the lining made by the magnet is in the center front, where the glasses don't touch it. And the lining itself is firmly attached to the inside. It's just as soft as any glasses case lining I've seen and much less likely to separate from the outer case than the hard-formed shell liners of the clamshell cases I have. Also, spring-loaded hinges on hard-shell cases that depend on tension to hold the case closed have a tendency to break after a certain amount of use so that you can't keep the case closed. Since I wear separate glasses for close-up and distance, I end up opening and closing my glasses case relatively frequently. This design, which uses a magnet to keep it closed and has a simpler hinge without a spring, should, I hope, last longer. The case also opens and closes quietly instead of slamming shut with a bang as regular clamshells do if you don't hold them back. One reviewer reported that the case got bent out of shape in the bottom of a backpack. I can't address that; I can see how it would succumb to irregularly shaped and heavy objects pressing on it and beating it up and one probably could twist and damage it with some little effort. I wouldn't recommend it for rugged use of that sort, but it seems to me that it'll stand up well to the strains of everyday use, if not to abuse. I'll update my review should I encounter any issues with it.

Very stylish!
I love this case. It looks much more expensive than the price tag. The only drawback is there are some sharp corners and I carry mine in my pockets, so it is noticeable. Overall, for the price point, this case is fantastic!

Sturdy and functional
I bought this case to replace the bulky case that came with my glasses. I am very satisfied with the style, size, and function of this case. It is sturdy enough that I will not be able to crush my glasses if I accidently sat on them. The only issue I had was that the case did not come in any packaging. I am not sure if the manufacture or Amazon placed an inventory sticker directly on it. It did not easily come off as I had to use WD40 to completely remove the sticker.

Love this for my readers!
I’ve had this for a while, it’s taken quite a few spills, but it still looks brand new! I love that’s it’s not at all bulky. It fits in my purse, and my back pocket, easily! Since it’s metal, it hasn’t worn out like the fabric and leather ones I’ve bought. It protects my glasses well.

Great, kinda.
So it does what it is suppose to do very well. It protects my readers from the dangers of my pocket. It is small and convenient and easy to use. There isn’t any real extra room for extras like a cleaning cloth but I didn’t want a big case. With that it gets banged up a lot. It takes dents and bends and looks like it has been truly beaten up and now is held closed with a rubber band. That said no damage has come to my glasses and I don’t have to keep track of a big case that I will most assuredly leave sitting somewhere so I view that as a success.

Strong, light, slim. Great if your frames fit.
I've had normal cases , with top and bottom halves, get warped from being crammed in luggage. This one has end caps distinct from the closure, so lateral force doesn't have much to grab onto to warp the case. It is small, I would probably say small frames only, not even medium, for the round one I have. Check the measurements, they do seem accurate for mine. It isn't waterproof or dustproof, but for protecting glasses in luggage that is stuffed full and then stuffed in other compartments and tossed around, this is a very low bulk and low weight option that feels strong enough.

Good while they last
I have used several of these cases, which I continue to buy in spite of their relatively short life. The case is a perfect size for my glasses, and I wish they held up longer. I like to have the smallest case possible because I carry my glasses in my pocket. The case is wonderful when new, but over time the aluminum begins to bend, and eventually an end breaks off because it is not strong enough to last. I replace the case after about six months, when it has become unable to do the job.
