The media could not be loaded.  I recently bought this drive for my brother as his laptop does not have a cd drive which we didn’t think about when purchasing. Firstly what is great is the fact that if you have Amazon Prime you get next day delivery on this item. Great if you need it quickly.So we’ve had this a few weeks now so I’ll share my experience with it. It is so easy to use it literally just plugs in and is ready to use. My brother works with his laptop a lot and likes to have his music playing while he works so this has been great for him. I’ve included some pictures and a video showing how it works. I hope this helps.It doesn’t take up a lot of space so can be easily hidden away or stored away. This is handy if you don’t have a lot of room.In terms of overall rating I’ll give it 5 stars it does exactly as you would expect it to do with no fuss. I try to review based on price , look and quality and this ticks those boxes nicely. I feel it like modern both in style and colour. It was a good price and it is easy to use.If you’re having the same trouble with a new laptop then give this a go.

Not a bad little item it came with a cable hard wired to connect to a usb port plus a usb to micro usb cable as well so your connectivity should be sorted. Worked straight out the box not to noisy and easy to carry around

My laptop does not have a DVD/CD drive and this lightweight and highly portable unit is everything I was hoping for to address the problem. It is well made and easy to connect via Type C or USB. It is able to play CDs and DVDs flawlessly, with no problems at all. It is very quiet andalso happens to look nice. The price was right too.

The Amazon description of this product states that it will work with Windows 10 and that it does not require any additional software. It did not work when I connected it to my laptop and via Amazon complained to the seller. I received a swift response, advising there were compatibility problems with Windows 10, the complete opposite of the online statement that it worked with Windows 10 and providing a link to download free software which did not work. In addition the User Manual supplied with the drive states under Methods to Resolve Exceptions, * Please make sure your computer have (sic) CD/DVD driver before using but no information is provided to determine what driver is required.

Simple, effective. Plug in and get going. Working well so far, doing what I need to do. Very happy.

Need have software for it to work

Works really well ana runs just as well as in a normal disc drive

Great, bought a new laptop which doesn't have a CD drive, this device does everything I require. Was easy to install and setup. Not sure it is totally slim but it fits in my laptop bad no problem so that works for me.
