LUSI MADAM Men's Poplin Outdoors Travel Sports Multi-Pockets Work Fishing Vest

I initially ranked this vest with one star due to a problem with the zippers. One zipper was broken and the front vertical zipper was sans pull tab. I kept it anyway as I was headed to the Philippines in a couple of days and did not have time to return it or purchase a new one from a brick and mortar. This vest is well constructed and otherwise perfect for traveling for me. Lots of zippered pockets for passport, billfold, loose bills, T/P, paper towels, hand sanitizer, etc. It is light and not binding poplin.While in the Philippines this company tried to contact me three times by e-mail offering me a replacement and refund. They assured me it was a packaging problem and they would rectify it. I have the new vest now and sure enough it is perfect. I am very happy with the product and fit. This is the first company l ever dealt with that is really sincere about having and making sure you get an excellent product from them.

the size comes small, make sure you look at the size comparison (there was a picture of it). few years back i bought similar one with large size and I could barely close around my belly. it turns out the size was asian size, not american size.i bought the green color vest. the actual color is darker than the photo on the web.the vest is good quality and has plenty of pockets. the pockets are larger than the ones on my previous vest. the top left pocket is big enough to store my phone and still able to close the flip.i use the vest quite often, working in the yard, going out, fishing, etc. i am thinking to get different color ones.

Immediately after unpackaging it, it shocked me how flimsy the fabric was. This, even though it is marketed for the uses of, "Great for fishing, hunting, tactical and mission multipurpose." However, the construction is woefully flimsy for any of these purposes. God help me to ever use it to carry a sidearm! I wore mine for only two weeks of general wear around the city, and the stitching gave way in the inner pocket big enough for me to lose my wallet! Not a good design for a garment such as this.

I just reviewed the denim version of this vest and described the problem I had with the zipper. I'm hoping this one won't have the same problem.PROS: This vest is much lighter weight, but will be great during the summer. I love having all the pockets available to carry things. The material is soft, lightweight and feels very cool. You can feel the lightest breeze through this material. It's comfortable out of the package, but I really can't weight to feel this thing after a few washings. It looks great and has adjustments on the lower sides to facilitate a proper fit.CONS; The sewing job on this vest is ok, but not what it should be and is a bit on the sloppy side. Those annoying hanging threads are plentiful around the inside of the pockets and zippers. The zippers. The denim zippers were metal, these are not. I have worn this vest a couple of times and the front zipper is giving me a problem lining up correctly to get it started and is not near as smooth as metal zippers are. I was hoping for a vest that would last years, but I'm not sure this one will as I wear a vest almost daily year round. I'm thinking I'll probably get 2 years out of it unless a zipper fails since that seems to be the weak point of this vest.

I love this so much I bought 2 more. I use these on my motorcycle and wear them all year round. I've dropped my wallet off the bike more than once, that can't happen with these deep zippered pockets. It also enables me to carry other stuff like my camera and even a water bottle, there is even a ring to hang my wrist watch on, so it doesn't get caught all the time... My only complaint is that some of the pockets have torn on the corners, but they are getting near constant use. I have a sewing machine and sewed them right up though. I wish I'd had this solution years ago.

Great value! I wear a women's large, and ordered a man's large, and it was a perfect fit. Of course it is not shaped, but I didn't expect it to be. I found it to be of very good quality for the money and not with the flaws that many of the negative reviewers reported. It would be great if this was made in a woman's size with a little more tapering under the arms, but it will serve my travel needs well. Light-weight, the khaki is a very neutral color, tons of pockets which will hold anything you need to carry. I looked at a lot of vests before I bought this, and I think I got a super value for the money.

Bought this vest for daily use, but mostly for camping; I needed extra pockets for all my EDC crap. Since I carry a wallet, a Leatherman multi-tool, a large-ish folding knife, a smartphone ( & a spare power cell for it/cable), allergy meds, lots of keys, and a second set of glasses with me (whenever away from home (or campsite), I ran short on pocket space long ago. I added pouches and "holsters" on my belt until I had difficulty getting in/out of tight chairs and snagging on armrests. This vest can carry my excess gear, out-of-sight and out-of-the-way., and taken off in seconds. The vest is lightweight material, light enough to not be hot in warmer weather, but sturdy enough to resist wear spots. I used a whole can of 3M Scotchguard to add water- and stain-resistance, and it made it feel more durable (like a canvas vest). It fits as expected (US 2XL/ASIA 5XL). I'll report back in a few months to rate the durability, long-term.

The size that I initially ordered was much to small by a significant degree. I would recommend a sizing chart with measurements tied to the various vest sizes.HOWEVER, The company was very responsive to my initial rating and took my measurements and sent a replacement that fits perfectly. Many thanks to Anne, the customer service rep, for her great work in making this a very pleasant experience. It is now exactly as I had hoped it would be.

Product quality good, but sizes not even close... gave away to someone who it would fitUpdate - July 11, 2017 - was contacted on July 6th by LUSI MADAM re my original review of my purchase above... they gathered info re fit and size from me, and promptly shipped me a replacement vest - a few sizes larger - it arrived today by courier and fits well - it is exactly what I was hoping for.Very fast, polite, and efficient support and service - now worth 5 stars! Thanks LUSI MADAM !!

Using this vest to hold my LVAD equipment. Although the vest appears to be durable, the large pocket seam tore open and the zipper ripped all under some duress. Will have sew back with a stronger thread for it to hold.So if your using the vest to hold lightweight items, you should have no problems. Anything heavy could result in seams tearing.Do like the comfort, style and colour though.

Like the headline says, this vest is perfect for what it's designed for. Unfortunately, it lacks the ability to use for general use. There is not enough space in the pockets for a glasses case, wallet, mobile phone, etc. The pockets are great for using as money holders! You really need to think what you are going to use this vest for. Having said that, the other two vest similar to this one that I bought are perfect for general everyday use!

I'm 83 and female. Fishing Nope. It looks a bit butch but then I see lots of old women in them on the telly. It's good for shopping - hands free; driving - licence, insurance and health care card - in fact all my identity is safe. There's plenty of space for cough drops and tissues; emergency paracetamol but not water - well perhaps a small bottle. Combined with a walker and the garden is mine

Uh oh. This is a great vest, but the seams on one of the zipper pockets has fallen apart. I've only warn the vest this spring and summer. I will try to sew.
