Really nice comb set with sturdy handles and bright colors. I was worried they might feel flimsy but they feel substantial like you can get a lot of work done without worrying about the head snapping off. The pin tail will make a nice clean parting to do color applications, or cut sectioning, and the comb teeth are fine enough you can easily use them to section and also tease out hair for blending highlights. One thing I would love is if the pin tail was just like 2" longer. I know longer ones exist, and some are too long. They arrived packaged well and even have protective tips on the end so you don't get poked through the package. Really great value set!

Work well for me. I normally use rat tail combs to part my hair, or to section when I cut my bangs. Price is great! These combs seem to be a little thicker than what I normally buy, which is a good thing so far. Easy to use and I prefer the metal tail over the plastic ones. I have long hair and I don't normally comb it out (I use a brush) so I can't comment on that. Overall, happy with the purchase and price is low enough that if they do break it's not an issue just ordering more. My combs last a long time though, since I use them mainly for parting/sectioning my hair.

Basic combs and very nice. Love the colors. I got black, white, and pink. I might get more colors. I love the metal styling end, makes it so easy to do a middle part which is how I usually style my hair. Great value for the money. Get it, girls.

It's a comb it's pink. It feels sturdy comb through my hair and I like that the teeth are close together. It isn't appointed to tip but it still parts your hair good got these so I can put in my tape extensions

it works, is good quality, and the comb part has very fine plastic bristles (is that the word?). I use this for simple hairstyles and for parting my hair and it works great! It's like any other rat tail comb except it's better because you're getting a set of 3 for the price of 1.

These are build extremely well. Its extremely effective at parting hair without it bending like a plastic one

I'd been putting off coloring my hair until I ordered these. I have been using my Mom's rat tail comb which is plastic and had seen its better days. The pin was a bit chewed up but hey its over 20 years old. I like that this rat tail pin is made of steel. I was able to get so much closer to my scalp and separate the hair as I wanted. I use the combs teeth section for a handle and fits perfect in my hand. The comb teeth section is slightly bendable but not flimsy.For the Heat resistance I have no opinion, I don't use it that way.Another use I have for the rat tail comb, I pull the dead hair and fuzzies out from the base of the brush its great for leaving nothing behind.I also use it to separate my Shih-Tzus long top knots getting that precise line for a perfect look. No longer using the edge of a metal comb and never getting it really straight like I want.Including pictures of the girls.I definitely recommend these Rat Tail Combs.
