Gaswatch Tvl212 Propane Level Indicator And Safety Gauge

Gas is getting trapped in the mechanism. Gas still flows, but the gauge is stuck on full. Might be the tank. I don't know. It also seems to have an emergency shut-off valve. If you turn on the burners too quickly after turning on the propane tank, you will have no or restricted flow. You need to wait about 10 seconds between turning on the propane and turning on the burners. After having this for 6 months, it is a real pain. I would definitely try something else.

My husband got caught a couple of times running out gas while grilling so he was looking for something like this. Went to local hardware store and although they had something similar it was more expensive. This works great - he loves it. Would be a nice little something extra for dad for Father's Day if he likes to grill.

As full time RVers, we were constantly running out of propane this winter. Brrrrr. The stick on/magnetic types of level indicators are worthless. Even though this one is made for a 10 lb tank, and not a 30 lb tank, it still gives us a better idea of our fuel levels.Hey, TVL International, why not make one for us RVers? We'd spend good $$$ for one designed for the bigger tanks!

The product is made of quality materials and connected to the tank easily. However, it just doesn't work as advertised. I wish it did as I don't like discovering that I don't have enough propane halfway through the grilling process. My recommendation is to purchase a second tank and keep a spare.

This product seems to do exactly as it is supposed to. I like the saftey feature and especially knowing when I need to refill propane, rather than running out during a cook out.
