LS2 Helmets Rebellion Motorcycle Half Helmet

This helmet was just what I was looking for. It is probably the most comfortable bicycle helmet that I've ever bought. It fits just right and I like how the tinted visor comes down at the right spot on my face to where it does not impede my vision at all. It is lightweight yet rugged and has a nice finish. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality bike helmet.

I have owned quite a few half helmets over the years and this along with my Bell Pit Boss is one of my favorites. The profile is similar to the Pit Boss, and although you can find half helmets with a slightly lower profile (Daytona) I think the quality and construction of the Rebellion is top notch. I like the styling of the Rebellion better than the Pit Boss so it is just a matter of personal taste - I think it looks great. The helmet extends down slightly around the back of your head for extra protection, the vent does help with air flow, and the quick release latch is awesome. I also like the side straps which are wide and on a recent trip I kept the (included) ear covers on to cut down on wind noise. Was still able to hear the radio and even though the temps were in the 80's it was comfortable. Obviously a half helmet is not going to give you the protection of a full face, but the construction, design of the Rebellion appear to be at the top end of half helmets in that regard.I read some reviews that said the sun visor causes distortion but I did not find that to be the case at all. The visor is well thought out and rests just above the bridge of your nose. When it is retracted you don't even know it is there. I did just however order a clear visor from Revzilla for night time riding and rain protection and will just use my wrap around sunglasses for day time riding.Sizing: Make sure to check LS2 size chart which is right on. For comparison I wear an XL in the Bell Pit Boss and Daytona, I ordered a large in this helmet, based on the sizing chart, and the fit is perfect. A little snug at first but after wearing it several days it fits great. Not headache tight and no pressure points.I got the Rebellion with the flag graphic which is subtle but looks great. Over all this is my favorite half helmet and even on long trips it will be with me, I probably will wear my Shoei Neotec when on the interstate for the extra protection but this will be my go to helmet for cruising around back roads and on days when it is very hot.

I don't know much about helmets so I researched them. A LOT. We went to a specialty store and looked at every brain protecting helmet they had. We ended up ordering 3 different helmets for my husband from Amazon. THIS helmet was the winner (3rd time's a charm).I just wanted to make sure whatever helmet we got would protect my hubby's noggin really well because there's no replacing it. I read the reviews and a couple people survived bad motorcycle accidents because of this helmet. And LS2 helmets are used by professional moto racers that fly. So why not my husband while he zips along on his monster of an electric scooter doing 45mph or more (gosh I hope not).It's DOT APPROVED which is necessary if you're gonna be on the road.It's around 3 lbs but FEELS light, esp. compared to the Bell helmet (felt heavy at 3.5 lbs) we returned.It's COMFY on the head.The amount of cushion inside this helmet is really good.There's a retractable and removable tinted visor. No need for sunglasses or goggles (though if you prefer, you could use them).There are actual air vents. Working ones.The secure chin strap is quick latching so he can secure/open it with his gloved hands.All in all, a great helmet for the money. It's not cheap and not crazy expensive, but it's a quality helmet that does well what it's supposed to do. I highly recommend it. My husband says it's GREAT.FYI, some LS2 info I got while researching:While started in China in the 90's (the factory is in China), LS2's headquartered in Spain and they have both U.K. and U.S. offices and a big warehouse in Chicago. They're a global company. They have approval stamps from all the major entities (DOT, Snell, ECE, etc).***UPDATE 12/14/20*** Since purchasing this, my husband was unfortunately hit by a car and this helmet saved his life. Literally. My husband was hit with such force that the impact sent him flying through the air head first into a lamppost. A police officer on the scene told him in 20+ years on the job, he had never seen anything like this (someone getting hit like he had and being able to come away from it alive) and that if my husband hadn't had this helmet, it would have been a white sheet ending. Truly a miracle. The helmet itself is completely INTACT. Only scratches. I've uploaded pictures. WORTH EVERY PENNY. HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE AND WOULD DEFINITELY PURCHASE AGAIN IN A HEARTBEAT.

This is a very good helmet for the price. All the reviews on how useless the visor is are true! The visor material itself is poor quality and obscure to look through. It's much to close to your face not allowing you to wear glasses underneath. I just don't use it and it's out of the way up in the helmet. It's not the lightest helmet in the world, but it's also not noticeably heavy. The chin strap design is good once you get used to it and I like it better than the D ring on old helmets. For sizing my head measures 22 3/4"or 57.785CN and the large fit me perfect. Overall the build quality is excellent and it looks very good.

This XL helmet fits very well even though I have a large round head. I always have trouble finding a helmet that fits. This fits be nicely and looks very good. The strap connector is easy to use

This is a very nice looking and very comfortable helmet. I installed my Seña communications system with very little effort. Only problem was the manufacturer cut one of the speaker pouches on the bottom instead of the top.

High quality, stylish helmet with tuck-away visor. XL fits as expected.

Visor pulldown is noticably undersized, meaning you either have to wear the helmet at an awkward downward angle for it to actually protect your eyes from wind and dust (etc.) while riding, or I have a 5-head. Jury still out on that one, I suppose.Otherwise comfortable with high quality chin straps and quick release.

Everything has described, I am very satisfied with this item and how fast it arrived.

der Helm ist billig, war am Anfang etwas eng und jetzt nach 3 mal Tragen passt er sehr gut, Das Visier beschlagt nur sehr selten, dass finde ich gut, der Helm ist wertig verarbeitet und sieht zudem mit den Signalfarben auch nocht gut aus, ich würde ihn wieder kaufen, hatte einen Nolan Helm gekauft für € 140,-- und habe ihn postwendend umgetauscht, zur Sicherheit des Helms kann ich leider keine Angaben machen, ich muss mal genau schauen ob ich Prüfzeichen finde, damit habe ich mich erst gar nicht befasst, ich vertraue einfach das der Helm sicher ist. Nachtrag: Spezifikation:Gewicht - 1350g +/- 50gAußenschale Bau - Hochdruck ThermokunstoffGroßen - XS-XXL.Genehmigung - ECER 22.05 + Dot Straßenzulasung.
