Netgear Did Not Let Me Down!
This compact little switch worked effortlessly right out of the box. The design is clean and sleek, and the switch itself is dead quiet. This compact little box makes it super easy to add more ports to your home network (+4, one front port is needed to provide it with internet.) It hasn't affected my speed at all, and took no more than a few short minutes to set up. Truly plug and play.

Perfect beginner switch
The metal makes it feel like a premium product, small and compact, you just plug it in and it's works, feels like it sped up my wifi which exactly what wanted, will be buying the 8 port at a later date.

It just works with zero setup
There's not much to say about this, which is a good thing. Straight out of the box it plugs into my existing home network and just works with no configuration. Where I had one network drop in a room, I now can connect four devices (one port of this is used for connecting to the house). I've used 300 series Netgear switches for the past 10(?) years without issues, so I expect this 105 to be the same.

Does just what it should and it's what I needed.
I desperately needed another two ports on my router and didn't want to upgrade the whole thing. This was an inexpensive, ready-to-go solution and I'm very pleased with it. Installation was quick and easy, the product has been working for weeks with no need to do anything on my part. That's how I like it.

Great addition for Routers
Wonderful addition to routers that don't have enough ports, the design feels very high quality and this is a bit on the larger side. A bit expensive for not a lot of ports but the design makes up for it if its in view. Works exactly as described and I have not noticed a decrease in speeds using this besides a slight one.

Do your research
Had I known now what I learned setting it. Managed would have been my choice and more Ethernet connections. It works great and it is made, well just really do your research don’t let price keep a person from having the power to direct traffic in their network.

These have been great switches
For a small switch that just moves data this is hard to beat. I had a little chinese knock off switch but I don't think I was getting good throughput on it. I switched to this and things seem more stable speed wise. It's not fancy but it just works.
