I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 2500HD and this gasket wasn't 100% the right fit. The perimeter lines up for the most part, but there are a few random "tabs" of the inner gasket, that stick in awkward spots. They look like they shouldn't be there, no matter which way you adhere the gasket. There is no spot on the lens cover for them to sit and they throw off the alignment of the gasket. I am skeptical that this will work and have a feeling I will have to purchase another model shortly. I will update again in due time.*Update 12/26/19* This seller went out of their way to contact me directly to apologize about the issue. They were grateful that I pointed out the flaw, and will use my feedback to work on correcting he issue. In addition, they issued me a full refund. Lastly, it has been a few weeks since I ordered this piece and there have been a few rain/snow events. The gasket hasn't leaked either. I have changed my rating of this seller/product, to reflect my new perspective.

Fit is good, 2 tabs needed cut off to fit. Wish it were a little thicker.

I found the brake light gasket seal I bought to be quite good, especially given how cheap it was. It might not be as high-end as other more expensive choices, but it adequately sealed the brake light assembly to keep moisture and debris out. My brake lights stayed functional and protected because of their simple installation and good fit. It provided dependable performance for the price, and I was pleased with the benefit it provided in protecting the lighting system in my truck.

Works as it should, sealed off easy install and no more leaks!

Bought this item for our 2012 Chevy Silverado. The description said it would fit our vehicle and it did not. Take your 3rd brake light off your vehicle and check how the gasket is made on the back before ordering this product.

The media could not be loaded.  It is a good thing that this came two in the package. After installing the first one I had a bigger leak than I started with.The thickness of the gasket is great. But for my truck it would have been nice if it was about 1/8” wider and taller.The first gasket I stuck to the light. The adhesive really stuck it on there. I evenly arranged and centered the gasket following the contours of the light. Installed it and thought I was good. We had a good rain storm overnight. In the morning I had a puddle under the back seat. Upon inspection of the gasket I could see where the whole top of the gasket was not in contact with the cab.It was a job to get the first gasket removed from the light. I tried several adhesive removers and never got all of the adhesive removed.I installed the second gasket directly to the cab. Here is where the extra width and height would have been super nice. I had to stretch the gasket to get it over the opening in the cab. It was difficult to get it to stay in place.This time I tested the seal. All your door and window seals have to be good to do this. Turn your heater on high and close all the doors and windows. Spray around the gasket with a mixture of liquid dish soap and water. If you get bubbles it is still leaking.I had to retighten the screws several times to get a seal.It has been raining for the last few days and everything seems to be staying dry now.

I replaced my broken rear cab brake light but the dealer didn’t have the gasket in stock.. So for 1/2 half the price I order this and fit as if OEM!!!

Easy to change and clean parts. Sticks well! Solved the problem!

This product works well to address the GM design flaw. When installed on a 2006 Silverado it solved the problem of a leaking brake light. Added pictures that show the thickness of the gasket. Have used for a month with no leaks occurring (including being in heavy northwest rain storms).15 month update: still dry with no issues since installation

Didn't fit. Left an obvious gap that's worse than it was before. Not sure what was up, but definitely not meant for the light on my 2007 GMC Sierra Classic. The most difficult part was getting the old gasket off and cleaning the surface. Install was simply peel and stick, but, yeah... for another light than mine I guess. Off to the GM dealership since it's supposed to rain tomorrow.

Fit my 03 Silverado but had to trim gasket Tabs slightly. Truck has been outside for several rainy days and no leaks. Hopefully it holds up over time.

Not sure how they designed this but as you can see in the picture the new gasket (top) is different from the factory gasket (bottom). It’s wider and has vertical dividers that line up with nothing. Had to trim to fit by removing the dividers, shortening the width and trimming the ends which were too wide and then siliconed the top after installed. Terrible. Go back to the drawing board people.
