THIS PUMP WAS THE LEAST EXPENSIVE I COULD FIND AND ITS WELL BUILT AND FUNCTIONING NICELY. GREAT REPLACEMENT FOR MY LAST PUMP WHICH WAS ABOUT $75

I had an issue with shipping I do not think was really the seller's fault but they were very quick to respond and sent a replacement. I have 2 of these pumps attached to diffent size hoses. Using the adaptor into a 1" pipe, the flow rate is very impressive. I had to actually set up a diverter and redirect some of the water back into the tamk I am pumping from as the flow was more than I needed. There is also a flow adjustment control on the pump I could have used, but I didn't want any backpressure on the the pump if I could avoid it. I have both pumps running 24 hours a day, one doing a 9' lift. I will update this review after several months if they continue to operate as they are.

WARNING WARNING. This pump worked well for 1 day. Then it started turning on and off intermittently on the second day. On the third day the pump started smoking while I was sleeping. Dear Amazon this is a safety hazard that could have easily resulted in something far more deadly. The pump never at once ran dry, Nor did it ever get wet near the plug. I normally read reviews, but i needed the pump immediately so I ordered without doing so. This item should be pulled from your website before it does cause a fatal incident.

Build and material quality reflects the price. Great overall but not for long term use.

Oddly, could not find the name of the manufacturer/distributor on the pump. Unusual in that when you lay it on its side it fits in tight overhead. The adjustable height of water column is effective minimum to max. Feels like high quality. NOT so heavy as my earlier one and moore powerful.-- I forget the make. I can hear the hum from close by but it is not bad. Perhaps I would not if it were upright as it has rubber suction cups to stand on.

The media could not be loaded. What I like about this water pump is that you can adjust the suction according to the size of you water tank. It also come with different sizes of nozzles. It is not loud and I don’t hear any noise at all.

The price is cheap, really cheap so I did not give it a 1. The rating is for 1350 GPH but my danner mag9.5 is considered 950GPH and pumps far more water than this thing. Yes, the mag9.5 is 3 times more money but it is also far stronger and faster water mover. If I had known this I would not have bought it.It should still work to aerate my water but we will see how long it will hold up.
