Base 18.
This is naturally a Base 18 abacus. Of course, you don't need to use all the beads and can do other Bases, such as 10 or 12 or 16. But I'm not an abacus expert. I would love to learn how to properly use this, but will stick with my soroban Base 10 abacus.
