Worth the cost in battery power alone
I bought this controller for 70 bucks off amazon when the price dropped and it was a very good buy! Like the title says, not only is this a wonderfully made controller, but the charging capabilities are on par with other portable chargers. To test it, I fully charged my powershell and drained my phone to 10%. I then left it charging in the powershell while I watched a movie. At the end of the movie the powershell was depleated of power but my phone was at a whopping 92%!That being said, there are some limitations that I wish I had known about before buying it: it does not work with all games, but you can do a google search and find the expansive growing list of compatible games! Also, if you are buying this only to play with terraria like it shows on the box, don't bother. They are still working on the kinks and for terraria specifically I find myself using touch controls instead. The powershell works WONDERFULLY with games like Knights of the Old Republic, COD, and Sonic. I also have bastion that it works with and I'm excited to try that out!Happy buying :)

Great, so long as you know what you're getting.
The shell feels very solid, well made. The buttons feel good, not squishy. The d-pad works well in any game I've used it in, I haven't had any issues with having to press hard. It's a bit large to use as a case full time, and if you do have a case the fit is so snug that taking the case off would be necessary. I use it with an iPhone 5S and the controller fits like a glove. The instructions state that it can also be used with the iPhone 5 and the iPod Touch. The instruction manual states that you need an adaptor for the iPod Touch though, and I don't think it came with one.The only issue with the d-pad is it has the same problem as the Xbox 360 d-pad, its difficult at times to press only one direction, it you try to press right 90% of the time it will register as up-right or down-right, unless you're very careful. This isn't a huge issue most of the time, but a d-pad with four separate buttons, like the Razer Sabertooth Xbox controller would have been preferable. The battery seems good, I haven't tested it thoroughly, but I'd estimate that it charges ~80%-90% of the iPhone 5S's battery. There is a small switch on the left hand side that turns on the battery. The case itself charges in around an hour. They have a decent amount of supported games (there is a full list here: http://gaming.logitech.com/en-us/game-list). I wish there were more, but there are still quite a bit.Overall this is a good peripheral, and while you probably wouldn't want to use it as a case full time, it is still very handy for people who dislike virtual buttons.

So close to being perfect, it's frustrating...
This controller is so close to being perfect that it's frustrating! The shape is great, the layout of the buttons is great, the extra battery power is great and the fact that it PERFECTLY fits your iPhone is freaking amazing. All that being said, the buttons are ultimately what matters most when gaming and that's where things start to go wrong.First, The 4 buttons on the right don't work like normal controllers do. On a normal gaming controller, the moment the button BEGINS to move down, your character reacts to the press. For these buttons, the reaction doesn't come until you press the button all the way down and somewhat firmly. This honestly, I got used to after a few minutes. The thing I absolutely can't get used to is the D-pad. You need to press the direction you want to go VERY FIRMLY for it to work. So there are often moments where you're moving right or left and your character just stops because you've slightly lowered the pressure on the D-Pad. The problem, I think, is that the D-pad depth is too small, and it requires you to press it very far down before it reaches the points of contact on d-pad's board. I'm going to experiment with it and see if I can add something underneath it and see if it helps. At this point, I don't care if I break it since it only cost me around ~$15.If I experiment with it, I'll report back.Update 1-24-21I didn't bother modifying it.

Fits iPhone 5/5S and ipod 5th gen like a glove
Pros: Fits iPhone 5/5S and ipod 5th gen like a glove. 8+ dollars.. Shoot yesCons: D pad and buttons are small. D Pad not quite right (don't know if its not responsive enough or too sensitive, just a bad feel)I bought this for my jailbroken iPod to use with emulators. Some issues with certain emulators with button mapping but nothing too bad, overall its good. The DPad just doesnt feel right for some reason. I also have an old ION iCade Mobile and I tested the difference and the DPad is better on the iCade. iCade is older and still sells for about 19$. iCade only works with iPhone4 size so you have to modify the case by cutting out some of the rubber, so while heavier more expensive and you have to modify it, its actually still a better controller for emulators. The Poweshell buttons are also really small and I would have liked for them to bring them down a little bit from where they are currently sitting. If I had paid the original price of 100+ when it first came out I would have been mad. They are only 8 Dollars now with free Prime shipping and I had to give it 4 stars just because they are so cheap. You cant beat that price for a lightning connected controller that is lightweight and so easy to set up and use

Not great for terraria.
Not the greatest control scheme on this thing.. The lack of joysticks make it pretty much useless for most games and even for terraria, which is on the package, is difficult because of having to use the d-pad. You still have to touch the screen to place blocks and to aim ranged attacks between one of the 8 directions on the dpad which can make things awkward.I'm not sure what games this might be sufficient for but I'd look for a controller with a joystick for each thumb
