Works great! One thing to note about chat!!!!
Ordered 3 of these bad boys. One for my TV and 2 for my PCs. What I can say is that the sound quality is great and the range covers my entire house!!! Pairing is done on the device itself and not on computer. Also volume is adjusted based on the app and headphones themselves. The main volume switch on PC does not have an effect on the volume of headphones. **One thing to note as I did not notice this when purchasing. Although this device does allow chat, when in chat mode the sound quality of the game or music will be significantly worsened. I contacted seller about this and they were very helpful. Unfortunately this is a problem within the design itself and cannot be fixed. The seller did direct me to one of there products that allows chat at full audio resolution so if you are looking for this please check out the BTWH-Z702 transmitter + headset. Also sold on Amazon. Please see my review for more information.

Original and replacement stopped working
This product was super easy to use and worked perfectly…for 1 day. I exchanged it for a new one, figuring it was just a dud, and all looked to be good for a couple of months. I connected my Bluetooth headphones to it only a handful of times, but it sat the USB port of my desktop computer at work from mid-December to mid-February ready to go. Today, I put on my headphones (Sony WH1000XM4), connected them, heard the connection sound, then heard a sound I’ve never heard before from my headphones, the light went out on the transmitter and it disappeared from available devices. I’ve unplugged/reconnected it in different ports, pushed the button in the various patterns mentioned in the product guide. Nothing. It’s dead just like the first one, only this time 2 weeks outside the return window. Easy to use product, but the quality isn’t there.

Nice no more audio cuts, affordable.
Maybe too fast to speak, first day of use but I can tell a difference.I moved to another apartment complex and here I started to have all the time audio cuts, super annoying. I have my Bluetooth speaker right next to my laptop and I'm having interruptions and audio cuts all the time, I didn’t have this problem that much at my other apartment that was not a problem at all but living in here brought me to look up for something like this and IT WORKS. No more audio cuts, easy pairing.I also tried with my headphones that I could just not use them at all because of the same issue. I was trying to use my headphones while watching TV 4 feet away from my laptop and It was impossible. Now with this device zero problems so far.I'll continue trying. Thanks!!The case is funny because it's like a USB drive but bigger.

Windows works perfectly. Works under Linux as headphones only, no mic. Haven't done MacOS.
I'm running Linux Mint 19.3 Tricia {base: Ubuntu 18.04 Bionic) on a Lenovo T430, using a USB 2.0 port; seen as audio device, not BT. Sound quality is excellent from BSO FLAC audio through Cowin SE7 (bt5.0) headphones; however the microphone isn't working (yet? Both devices are new to me, so I don't know if there is something I've missed). Pairing was painless, but slow: ~20+ seconds for pairing to occur; MUCH slower than with all other pairings I've done with these headphones.Initially Windows 10 acted the same as Mint, headphones worked w/o microphone. When I turned on networking, there was an automatic update and then the microphone worked as well. The BT pairing was quite slow under Windows as well.

Great at what it does...but maybe less than you'd expect.
The bad:- It is NOT a normal PC Bluetooth adapter if that's what you're after. My PC sees it as a sound card. The good:- The range is excellent. I just took my new Bluetooth 5 headphones around the house and couldn't find a dead zone anywhere. I had to walk maybe 10 feet outdoors before it started dropping. Your mileage may vary, but considering that I own cords with longer range than my old Bluetooth 4 adapter, I'm pretty happy with the range here.- Pairing was easy. I set the headphones in pairing mode, double-tapped the button on the transmitter, and they worked it out.- PC setup was easy, if unexpected. It saw the transmitter as a sound card, rather than a Bluetooth device. But the headphones' audio controls (play/pause, next, previous) do work perfectly!- 3.5mm setup was just as easy. I just plugged the transmitter into a USB power bank, plugged in an audio cable, the headphones re-paired instantly, and I was hearing audio! Nothing to it!I almost hate to rate this product so low. What it does, it does VERY well! But they don't clearly spell out what it is, so I can't rate it above a 3 in good conscience. I was fooled. I'm certain that others will be too. I'm just lucky that it does exactly what I bought it for. And I'm probably buying another one for my folks' TV so they can use headphones.

Fantastic range, signal, and sound quality
The Giveet Portable USB Bluetooth Audio Transmitter Adapter Dongle has fantastic range. I just got it today, but I did have time to test it with both my JBL Flip 4 and cheap MPOW bluetooth headphones. I walked all over the house (1200 ft) and into different rooms. There was no distortion whatsoever with either device. It took me a moment to realize you have to manage it through your speaker in your system icon tray. Once I figured that out, everything was great. The dongle is a little large, but I suspect it was to be in order for it to have so strong a signal. So far, it was worth the $19.00 I paid for it. Spend the extra money for this item.
