This cabinet is well built, and by it's design should be totally rain resistant. There is a rubber gasket around the edge of the opening, and along with U shaped channel around the opening, there should not be any water incursion. I have not installed it yet, but I do not see any issues that will occur.

Control panel

This item has a smaller outside measurement than is listed here, I expected for enclosing equipment that the measurements would be accurate as the inside measurement but its outside measurements are 15.75" by 11.75". There is a massive gap around the mounting plate inside, of the 12" width listed the mounting plate is 9 7/8" wide?!? The mounting plate has large bolts w/ nuts on the mounting plate surface holding it on instead standoffs with clean countersunk screws holding it in place, this further reduces the mounting surface available. The door catches on the latch rivets when opening and you have to pull slightly out on the door to clear them and open the door all the way, paint is already chipped where this occurs. For this price, this is trash.

Are you kidding? I can’t even use this because the frame is literally bent by a good 15-20 degrees 🤦‍♂️
