Workhorse, durable and well made
I've been using this on a daily basis for years as a docking station. I have 2 USB-A inputs, a USB-C power source, and an HDMI output all driven through the USB-C port on my laptop and everything functions well. There's still plenty of room for more devices/drives., so there are plenty of ports. It operates a bit warm but clearly not enough to damage itself and certainly not enough to harm people or other devices.Over the years the cord has shown no signs of wear, and the device has survived at least a couple of nearby spills without issue. It's compact with a modern look, so I think it would look good in pretty much any desktop setup and while I haven't needed to travel with it, it'd be good for that use case too.

Great for Connectivity, But Limited for Multi-Screen Use
I purchased the QGeeM USB C Hub to expand my laptop’s connectivity, primarily to connect multiple screens and additional peripherals. After testing it for a while, here’s my experience:Pros:✔ Multiple Ports for Versatility – This adapter includes 1 HDMI port (4K), 1 USB-C PD (100W), 3 USB 3.0 ports, and SD/MicroSD card slots, making it great for expanding my laptop’s capabilities.✔ 4K HDMI Output – The HDMI output delivers a crisp 4K resolution. I was able to connect an external monitor without any lag or flickering, which significantly improved my workflow.✔ Fast USB 3.0 Speeds – The three USB 3.0 ports allow me to connect accessories like a mouse, keyboard, and external storage devices with high-speed data transfer.✔ 100W Power Delivery (PD) – The USB-C PD port supports up to 100W charging, ensuring my laptop stays powered while using multiple devices.✔ Compact & Stylish – The classic grey aluminum body looks sleek and matches my setup well. It’s also lightweight and portable.Cons:➖ Limited Dual Monitor Support for Windows – While it does allow for one external display via HDMI, Windows laptops don’t support extending two separate displays through this hub. If you need multiple monitors, you may need a dedicated docking station with MST support.➖ No Ethernet Port – If you require a wired internet connection, this hub doesn’t include an Ethernet port, which might be a downside for some users.Final Verdict:The QGeeM USB C Hub (7-in-1) is a solid, budget-friendly adapter for users who need extra connectivity for their laptop. It works great for single-monitor setups and expands USB capabilities efficiently. However, Windows users looking for true multi-monitor support may need to explore alternatives with MST capabilities.✔ Recommended for general use, power delivery, and single-display setups.❌ Not ideal for advanced multi-monitor configurations on Windows.Would I buy it again? Yes, but I’d consider a more advanced dock if I needed dual external monitors.

Gave options to a Chromebook that are not built in
My friend has a new but fairly basic options Chromebook. It had two USB-C ports but not much else. This device allows her to have more options like Ethernet and more importantly to her HDMI. She now can easily connect her large but older TV to her laptop and then when adding a keyboard/mouse, she can sit back on her couch and use her laptop on the big screen.

Works great for Samsung Dex and HP Chromebook 14!
This is my second QGEEM USB C hub. The first lives in my backpack for remote work purposes. This one just made a new home at my 3D printer battle station and I love it!TLDR: Great packaging, solid materials, fast reliable connections and fair pricing! My gear: S22 Ultra running samsung dex, HP Chromebook 14 running Linux. Dell 24 inch IPS monitor. Nothing too exotic in that lineup, but neither host device is Windows or Mac so hubs are not always as simple as plug and play.Use case: Connect to the larger display via HDMI (both mirror and extend modes are used), Store and move files between Chromebook and my Aquila printer with the built in TF card reader, Access external SSD storage and wireless keyboard and mouse via USB, charge my Chromebook or S22 Ultra when connected thanks to the 100w PD input. Again, nothing too exotic. However, this hub handles it all flawlessly in both Linux and Dex environments.Function: There is no lag on USB peripherals, which I've experienced in other (even more expensive) hubs, and the monitor is recognized immediately upon connection. I'm not moving massive files but I've not noticed any transfer rate issues when utilizing the external drive.Fashion: It seems to be a very sturdy build. I didn't feel like I was going to break it when attaching it to the underside of my desk. Having the card readers on a side not shared by the HDMI output made this a perfect fit for my needs, as well. I could keep the desktop tidy and still have quick access to those TF cards with the hub nicely situated under the desk top.I've tried other hubs that were roughly 3x the price and they couldn't keep up with this little gem. Were they one off bad experiences? Maybe. If you're looking for a good USB C hub at a fair price, and this meets your needs from a design stance, give it a shot!

A game changer
I bought a projector and I couldn’t use it with my MacBook, but now I can. This changed the game, now I have access to so many things in my MacBook.
