LOVE IT
This thing is incredible!!! We have the dangerous breed of mosquitoes (white bands/spots) invading our property. It's so bad, we haven't been able to even get to our vehicles without being swarmed. They are everywhere. We have no standing water on our property, but there's a creek half a block away.I didn't want to have to keep using chemical bug sprays on our skin and lawn sprays that could affect our dogs. I understand bug zappers sometimes kill beneficial insects too, and I'm sorry about that... But this thing is incredible!!! I set it up last night and there's a huge difference today. I can walk around in my yard without seeing a mosquito at all!I used a shepherd's hook (Walmart) to hang it about 30 feet from my house. Our lot is just over an acre. I used a 25ft medium duty outdoor extension cord to plug it in to my garage. We plan to keep it running 24/7 for the summer and replace the mosquito attractant once a month. Do not mount this thing near your house, follow the directions. The mosquitoes do swarm the area around the zapper because they are attracted to it. This would be dangerous if you have little kids, you would want a taller shepherds hook. The one I have mine mounted on is 48 inches.

Great bug zapper
Bug zapper works great. This year was a bad bug year. I plug it in at dusk by dawn the screen is packed with dead bugs. I just blow dry them off & do it again the next day. It has made a significant difference with the amount of bugs I have in the yard. Before I purchased this, the mosquitoes would attack you immediately. Now I have an occasional bug bite. The only draw back on this zapper is having to blow off the dead bugs daily. The birds sit under the light and eat all the bugs blow off afterwards.

it works well the moment it is plugged in. Strongly recommended.
No wonder this bug zapper has a high rating - it just plain works! The construction is strong, the performance is awesome, and the price is reasonable. It began zapping mosquitos, flies, and gnats immediately after being plugged in. The 40 Wt bulb is bright, but not excessively so. Neighbors should not find it objectionable. We didn't install the bug attractant, choosing to see how well it worked just with the blacklight. A couple of minutes after plugging the unit in we were zapping 1-3 bugs per second. So it works, and has continued to work nightly for the two months since we purchased it. We find it superior in construction to what we saw at HD. Hopefully it will last for more than one season.

These work great! (Just aren't clog-free)
These zappers work great. I actually bought 2 for my house, front & back. BUT they are not clog-free. Every night it kills hundreds of bugs. Every morning I have to go & clear it out so it's unclogged the next night for the bugs to get zapped/ electrocuted.I actually bought a little handheld rechargeable blower to blow the bugs off- like a can of air, but a machine, not a can. I had tried a little brush but that was difficult, time-consuming & gross. The little blower works great. The mosquitos still swarm my doorways, though, even though the zapper is 25 ft away from my door as directed. So I'm gonna try the DUNKS to put in standing water. The have a bacteria that disrupts the life cycle of mosquitos to where they die before they get big enough to bite. The water is still safe for everyone.

It actually works!
Must admit I was skeptical. I bought it because wth it is inexpensive and I wanted to try if it would do anything.I installed it near my patio dining table, I guess not following the instructions that indicate it should be far from people.I was very much surprised by the result, I can be outside without wearing any repellant! In the past I'd get bitten to the point of desperation.Towards midnight, when humidity is higher, I do get some mosquitos in my ankles, but then I just wear a little repellant and that's it.I still need to move it away from my table and see if it makes a difference.

Works great best shock bar that I’ve had strong metal
This is the best bug light on the market cost a little more but it’s worth it . I bought 3 of them 2 of the 1 acre and 1 of the 2 acre I like to here them sap the bugs with the noise they do that I use my leaf blower to clean them out every now and then most of them fall through. The metal on the kill bar is solid and not screen wire.

Usa quality made!
This is by far the best bug zapper ive used. It covers a large area and when the bigger bugs get on the coils it takes them out. It is very powerful and bright. It seems to be made with quality components, and a thick plastic cage. We keep ours in our travel trailer, its very nice to have if we end up in a spot with a lot of bugs.

Great over the years
Zaps and kills everything. Had it for 4 years now and it runs great every summer. I live next to the wetlands. It kills a ton of bugs nightly and has lasted longer than the Black Flag ones that I used to buy. I run one in my front yard and one in back. When the screens get "full", I just hose them down with the garden hose or flush out the screen with my backpack blower.
