Quick & of Decent Craftsmanship
I've rode bikes(moto's) a few years back & this whole scooter thing seemed silly at first but working in a congested city(San Diego), just right for getting me from point A to B & possibly C. Anyways check out the video as this one appears to be of good build quality, actual max MPH for a 170lb rider would vary between 30-33 & distance will soon be measured. Get about 4-5 days of moderate(2-3hrs) riding then charging appears to be of about 16hrs in which I split that into 2 days for reduced stress on this $4OO battery; 8hrs per day. Now I'd say for me personally it's not fast enough but for the majority of you general Joe's it should ;) -UPLOADED THIS VIDEO IN FULL 1080P HD, TURNED OUT DIFFERENT-

Problematic scooter - look else where !!!
I have owned my Q1 Hummer now for a lil under a year and it worked great for the first few weeks but then all the issues began happening. Let me start by saying that this is my 3rd scooter (1st was a generic Chinese model, 2nd was a jetson breeze) and what sold me on it was that it has shocks and a powerful 800watt motor - I’m a 220lb guy so I needed extra oomph and suspension to get me over some hills here in NYC. Qiewa has actually been pretty good at customer service, every time I had issues, they would ask for me to send pictures or videos, which I did and within a few weeks they would send me parts to repair my scooter with. Their English is not the best but you can still understand what they are trying to communicate. I will do my best to explain why my experience with this scooter is so bad.Scooter worked perfect for first 2 weeks then began shutting off on me mid ride - I kept getting a 006 error on the lcd readout - contacted Qiewa and was sent a new controller.Noticed a crack in the welding for the rear wheel assembly - contacted Qiewa and was sent a a whole new rear assemblyRear LED brake lights stopped working, they would flash red when you applied the brakes but about 3 months in, they just stopped working one day. Did not contact Qiewa for this because in all honesty they were kinda useless to begin with. I have a flashing LED on my book bag so that worked better for road visibility than Qiewa’s lights did.Scooter stopped charging - I inspected the internal wiring and the connector that is responsible for charging the battery had oxidized and was basically dust. I snipped off that damaged part and replaced it with 2 brand new connectors. Did not contact QiewaThumb throttle snapped off - It just snapped off mid ride and for a week I had to use my thumb at an awkward angle to be able to accelerate. Contacted Qiewa and was sent a whole new throttle/lcd assembly. The front led lens came undone inside its housing, I disassembled it, cleaned out the old glue and injected new glue around the led lenses and voila, problem fixed. Did not contact Qiewa.Alarm system stopped working after 4 months, I would lock the scooter and the alarm would just go off forever, so I couldn’t hit the lock function because the annoying alarm sound would not stop, so I stopped locking it whenever I would park it somewhere which totally defeats the purpose of having an alarm in the first place. Contacted Qiewa about this but never got a response, just a whole bunch of other parts that were not even related to any issues I expressed to them, like rear led lights, horn and light switch, and a rear tail guard. I’m chalking this up to their poor understanding of English. Finally my controller burnt out again and in the process melted most of the wiring around it, not sure how to fix it or if I even want to at this point, I have spent more time trying to get it up and running than actually riding it.This of course is not even mentioning the ongoing maintenance it requires. Brakes need to be tweaked often and my rear brake is basically useless before this point. GOD FORBID you get a flat on this scooter. Shops are few and in between that are willing to change the tire out and the 1st that tried ended up damaging my tire (but payed for a new one), it’s such a pain that I invested in some quality tire irons and learned how to change the tube and tire out myself, through out my ownership, I have changed 2 tires and 3 tubes though not to the fault of Qiewa, more so terrible NYC streets and potholes. Road vibration will loosen all the screws on the scooter so please invest in a good set of tools to keep up with its maintenance. Also this scooter does not go as fast as advertised, the fastest I have ever gone on it was 25mph going downhill wind to my back kinda scenario but the lcd readout will say 40mph - grossly inaccurate. From reading this I hope you understand that I am a very handy/technical person capable of making most repairs myself but the average person would easily waste hundreds of dollars paying for these repairs in a e-bike shop. It’s sad, it was a real joy to ride this thing when it was working, the suspension was a real plus and it was zippy. Now I’m back to taking the damn MTA again. I’m pretty sure I got a lemon and even if someone out there didn’t and has a fully reliable Q1 hummer- a lot of what I wrote on here about maintenance should be taken seriously, especially the brakes, I had many near encounters on account my brakes weren’t tight enough.
