Firstly, the "zoom" in the title is incorrect, it's fixed 12x magnification. Optically it's OK, with no "purple fringing", I guess what you would expect for the price, but I get a clearer image and a wider field of view from my mid-range 8x42 binoculars and the extra magnification adds nothing, so for me it was a pointless purchase. The phone camera attachment works OK and looks sturdy enough, but the image only fills a circle within the available image area so you lose some magnification, so not as good as i had hoped.

There must be a better phone attachment.
Don’t buy this if the telephone mounting is important for you as the fixing is weak and feeble. Frustrating reallly, as it’s a great idea. The monocular itself is good and does its job very well. Easy to use and a good, clear view.

If you are buying this product to use with you phone don’t bother the gadget it comes with is pathetic it just doesn’t hold the phone in place it doesn’t keep it tight to cameraThe scope it’s self is fine good viewsI must add the company have been in touch have offered me a full refund because of the fault with phone holderWhich is first class they didn’t have to it’s really good customer service

Image quality excellent with good light capture and sharp image. Ideal for casual garden bird watching.

Great value monocular
I absolutely love this product, I had no idea how many of my neighbours like to undress with the curtains open! Jokes - I already knew that. But seriously. Great bit of kit ;-)

Already received this item about 10 days, only used once on the beach, views clearly and wide, good quality also comes with mobile phone shoot set, can take pictures what you see, so good
