I bought this as a permanent piece of furniture.....I need steps to be able to reach the window and open it. They feel sturdy and safe to use. The steps are not refined carpentry, using recycled wood they do have a home made country feel to them, yet they do look like a piece of furniture. For the money Iam very pleased with them( similar products are much more expensive.)

Not going to be everyone's ideal. The steps are very rustic. But absolutely perfect for what we wanted as library steps.If you want steps that are rustic and practical, then great..

Steps function as required. When I created a balcony through my bedroom wall, there was an unavoidable difference in floor levels between my room and the new balcony, requiring an easy-to-move two-step 'ladder', preferably in a light wood to match the décor of my room.This product met all the desiderata, and was delivered in timely fashion ready assembled. (I confess I am a great fan of Amazon!!).

Looks great but arrived with a significant chip on one of the legs. A bit disappointing to have this item already damaged - makes me wonder about overall quality for the future.

Nothing to complain about, this stepladder is excellent. Nice wood, I use it from time to time to reach the high shelves of my library and it supports easily my 70kg. When not in use for the obvious, it is used as a table to rest drinks etc..A great buy!

We needed a small set of steps for hard-to-reach top shelves in our lounge. These looked idea and indeed they are. Really solidly built and just right for what we wanted. Not the cheapest but these will last a lifetime.

Exactly what it says on the box. Well made, sturdy, perfect for getting to the highest shelves of the bookcase.Very happy.

All legs are not even (diffrent lenth)and quality is a bit doggy.
