I selected this over the slick, sleek, tiny Bluetooth speakers because:It has Bluetooth earbuds in the little guy's head. Few units have both the portable speaker AND earbuds together; great for traveling. The head lid has a secure locking clip, so the earbuds won't fall out if you toss him around.It is distinctive-looking, so it doesn't get lost among all my black countertops, black accessories, and in my black purse, backpack or suitcase. Makes it easy to find and charge my earbuds, too. His happy little face greets me when I approach, and he gurgles a few pleasant notes when turned on (not sexy, just cute).The sound quality of both the earbuds and the speaker is very good for the money. I don't care about deep/loud base, so I'm fine with a bit more spectrum limitation.The speaker sound fills a small-medium room. Perfect for my office, bath, bedroom and kitchen, without disturbing others around me (earbuds work for privacy, also).It links to my phone and car, too (I don't need it to link to Alexa).The power/charging indicator is great; I don't have to guess if it's powered up or down, or when it's fully charged.The battery is long-lasting. I haven't actually timed it, but I have used it for a couple of hours each day for several days and it is still going strong.One potential drawback is that it uses a B-type charger connector and the one included with it is only a foot long (most devices these days use C-type). Not an issue for me as I have a few longer B-type connectors left from old cell phones. Plus they're cheap if you need to purchase longer ones.One reviewer mentioned that the control buttons can be accidentally turned on in a purse. Mine don't depress very easily, plus when on the go I either keep it in a small case or hanging from my belt or backpack with the included lanyard. No accidental turn-ons so far.All-in-all, this is definitely NOT just for children, and suits my personal sound and communication needs perfectly.

I bought these because they are ‘waterproof’ and I wanted headphones I could use at the pool. I used them for running and walks and they’re great - except that I have small ear canals and they would just pop out sometimes. Then, when I tried them at the pool, under my silicone cap, they mostly worked until one popped out and went to the bottom of the deep end! We fished it out and now they’ll pair with my phone but don’t work any more. The speaker case still works so I’ll still use it but DO NOT THINK THEY ARE WATERPROOF. They’re NOT!!

So these are awesome but don’t work for any stroke other then breast stroke. I put my head just under water and then I get nothing. Then I’ve gotta make sure they air dry so I can’t use them everyday in the pool. They are cute and work better then my others but not a total solution. Want to run in the rain then these are good. Want to do an actual swim work out with music then these are only ok.

I had tried several wireless earbud and they were always falling out because they never fit in my ear snuggly - they were too large. I am not having this problem with these ear buds. I also like that the base is also a mini speaker.

This thing is a bluetooth speaker AND has headset and stays charged forever!! Sounds great I listen to alot audiable at work so these perfect hard to see lol.

Great for all kids and small ears. Except the speaker turns on in bags. The buttons are easily hit.

I used the buds and the mini speaker while on a mission trip. It was perfect for what we needed.
