They are a great asset.
I find these little remotes to be a huge assets for recording videos. I can setup two cameras with the receivers and just press 1 button on the remote to start filming at the same time on both cameras. It makes filming so much easier.

Won't Last Long
After 8 months of infrequent use, and pampering this shutter release as I do all my gear, the receiver (TW-283RX) simply stopped working. Installing fresh batteries doesn't help. It turns on, but cannot change channels anymore, and cannot communicate with the camera anymore. It's a piece of trash. I'm very unsatisfied, and wouldn't recommend this product to anyone.

Works with Nikon D-750 and D-7100
Setting up interval shooting take more time than it should there multiple steps needed. Check out YouTube for better information. There is too much fine print.Almost like the Software / Firmware was for some other applicaion.That said the TW-283 does work well.
