Oh Boy! Oberto Original Tender Style Beef Jerky 30 Wrapped Sticks Canister NET WT 12 OZ

This is my husband's favorite jerky. However, it is not mine.

we send these to our Grand Son in Iraq with the Army he really likes them they fit in his cargo pockets so when he needs a snack he has one and i like them too.and the price is right we'll be back!!

I received only 29 out of 30 pieces of Jerky with the trash from the outside can and missing jerky stuffed inside. I had ordered them to put in boxes to donate to soldiers overseas at a gathering that night, so I had to use what I had rather than send it back. Part of me was worried that someone had tampered with the Jerky, but it really just looked like someone got hungry based on the evidence so I used it. Some poor solider got 1 less piece of Jerky! Needless to say, I was quite disappointed with this purchase :(

Only reason I'm giving it two stars is because I like that its individually wrapped and in a good cannister. The beef jerky, if you can call it that, was spectacularly disgusting. I can't even start to describe how bad it was. Its like if you left meat to sit overnight in the desert, then marinade it with some motor oil from an old 70's Ford Pinto.

Good news is that it's edible and individually wrapped. Bad news is that it doesn't taste all that great. In fact it doesn't taste like much. Texture is okay, in the sense that you can tell it is meat, but it's not "normal". It's hard to explain but just note that it's not the best texture.

We purchase these beef jerky sticks for our two young children to take to school for their protein snacks as they are both hypoglycemic. This is the only brand they like! They're not too salty and perfect for on the go!

Good for a snack on the go when you need to eat something quick and tasty. A little too salty for my taste.

Not a good buy. I use to buy this at Sam's CLub but they discontinued. This one was old and hard not soft an chewy.
