KSA 10" Lighted Capiz Shell 8-Point Gold Star Christmas Tree Topper - Clear Lights

I wasn't sure how much I'd like this when it arrived, but it's just gorgeous! I thought the lights would be exposed in the back, and I was worried how it would look from the street. There is a shell backing to the star to diffuse the light, however. It's not as decorative as the front, but it's just fine for putting the tree in our bay window. The only thing I don't like is the spiral base to attach it to the tree. It's not very sturdy, and it takes quite a bit of finagling to get the star to stand up straight. It's just too heavy for a spiral base. I used a couple of small zip ties to secure it in place, which isn't such a big deal. I just like products to work right out of the package.

Last year we had no Christmas tree topper because I couldn't find one that didn't look cheap. This year, I decided to check online and found the largest selection on Amazon. The star arrived just a few days after I put in the order. I fell in love with it right away. It is elegant and beautiful! The decorative lines on the capiz shell star complement its simple lines. We did find that the star was a little heavy. My husband had to add some supports to keep the branch on which it was balanced from tipping. However, that was easily done and I will enjoy it yearly during this special season.

This is a gorgeous addition! It is a little heavy so you have to work at it to get the balance and enough tree to get it to stand perfectly. Oh and you have to unscrew the star casing to reposition the lights correctly in each of the corners, so do that before you add it to the tree. It has nine lights inside - eight for each corner and one in the middle. It is truely impressive and I received so many compliments on it this Christmas.

The first one came broken but was quickly replaced. It is a beautiful star! As with the other reviews however, it needs some finagling (bracing) to fit as it should. The mounting point is too broad and short. Once on tree - gorgeous!

My wife absolutely loves it! I saw it on here after not being happy with anything I saw at various stores. So after seeing pics of this one on Amazon I decided to pull the trigger and got it sight unseen. If the star ever breaks or for whatever reason doesnt work anymore I will purchase this same one again!

Our old similar one from 20+ years ago still works but is harder to put back together each year. The new ones are flat on one side so it's for a tree against a wall not a middle of room tree. Looks decently made, nice materials, arrived in good shape

We were hoping from the price of this item that it could be viewed from both sides. Product information does not tell you that it's only this pretty on one side. It's beautiful, but only if your tree is against a wall.
