 This thing is AWSOME. I have 2 a/c units that dont have a thermostat on it. I used these to control them to turn on and off on their own. It was a cheap and easy fix rather than replace them.However the yemp is inaccurate but thats fine because its consistant.I am having issues with one of them. That its not reading unless you wake it up. But still awsome.I would give 5 stars if the other one starts to work. Or the manufacturer is willing to just replace the not working thermostat. Ill exchange for it.

There are lots of remote "weather stations" out there, the kind with an outside sensor and inside readout. This unit works on the same basic principle except that the sensing unit has an internal switch to turn the a/c outlet on or off at a temperature that is preset on the controller. I purchased mine to control a fan in my attic, and it sorta works.The generally positive ratings aside, the problem with my unit is that the temperature displayed (and therefore the basis for setting the target value) is no where even close to the actual air temperature up there. A conventional thermometer placed alongside was a full ten degrees different. I would have hoped there would have been some way to calibrate, but the user's brochure was silent. Speaking of which, the brochure was a bit awkward, but understandable.If I could calibrated it I might rate five stars, May be picayune, but I don't feel I should have to interpolate temperatures in order to use it. I'm returning it.

I used this to control a window AC unit. Pretty easy to get set up, although I don't believe you can set a program for each day of the week even though it has you pick the time and day when you set up. If it does it sure doesn't come with enough instructions to even come close to explaining that.I had it in and working, set my room temp to 74 and went to bed. Came home from work the next day and the wall unit was on, indicated by the red light, but the AC wasn't running. I plugged in several other items and none of these turned on. To make sure it wasn't the wall power itself that was out I unplugged their device and plugged in my AC directly and sure enough it turned on.These things are made pretty cheap. Spend the extra bucks and get some quality.

We have a window A/C that has no thermostat, and I was tired of constantly turning it on and off. The temperature never stays the same in Indiana, so I was changing the settings many times every day. This became very annoying, so I started looking for a solution. I had come across temperature controlled relays that turn on and off at specific (non-changeable) temperatures. I wanted something I could adjust. I was a little skeptical of how this wireless temperature controller would work, since it was so inexpensive.I have been using it for almost 2 months, and it is absolutely amazing. No more getting up to turn the A/C on or off. No more coming home to a freezing cold or hot and humid house. I just set the temperature (or create a temperature schedule) like a programmable thermostat, and it takes care of the rest. I can't believe I had gone so long without something like this.

This is one handy little gadget, right here. It was super easy to get up and running. The Chinese "English" is even pretty clear. I was actually over-complicating it! You can set it to come on if the air gets too warm (for an a/c unit,) or you can set it if the air gets too cold (for a heater). I can see this paying for itself very quickly, considering our utility bills!

1. Could not set time, followed written instructions exactly. Didn't work. Tried pairing with plug, seemed to work, but the on/off controls didn't affect the power running thru plug. Played with it for an hour - wasted time never get back....returned for refund.

I got this device to control my window air conditioner unit that has only high and low setting. It works great to automatically turn on and off my AC as needed to maintain temperature. It's very easy to install, pair and set up time and date, the instructions are easy to understand. The temperature sensor works very well too, it constantly and instantly reads any change in temperature and adjusts accordingly. It is better than I expected.

I almost return it for DOA because I didn't read the instruction. The unit came unpaired. They need to be paired before they work together. Mind are working great and fits my need perfectly. Now I just have to install it and hope it lasts.
