Frying Pan Storage Rack by Grayline

I ordered two of these, one I returned because it turned out they were wider than anticipated and my shelf didn't fit two as I had hoped. The one I kept has been great for my pans though. We got Henkel brand pans, set of three with the biggest being 12" and smallest being 6". The big pan is not a super high sided pan and barely fits in the rack, but it does squeeze in so it works. Our pan is 2" tall (to give you an idea of the biggest pan that will fit in this unit). The rack is a bit flimsy and it would be nice if it had rubber on the bottom so it didn't move when you took pans out but overall it performs the job its supposed to and it wasn't expensive. I would recommend this as a quick fix to cabinet organization and to save the non-stick on your pans from damage in a cluttered cabinet.

I wanted somewhere to put my three Lodge cast iron skillets but didn't want to stack them (I didn't want the season grease to get on the bottoms of them) so I bought this. Works perfect! I was afraid the 'shelves' wouldn't be high enough, but they are JUST tall enough for the cast iron. Cast iron is heavy, but this holds up just fine!I bought two thinking I'd stack my pyrex baking dishes in the other, but those are in fact too tall for this. Just FYI. I think I'll give my mom the other one for her cast iron.

These other people are right. The bottom space is waay to narrow to fit a large skillet. And since the large skillet is the one that takes up the most space in the cabinet.... it's still a hot mess in there. But if you only have small skillets, this is the rack for you.

I read many reviews on various web sites on many cookware racks for fry pan storage solutions. Most stated they did not hold the bigger fry pans. This rack is wonderful! My fry pans are upto 3 inches deep and up to 12 inches in diameter. This rack holds them all easily. And they are so easy to pull out and put in to stack/store. DEFINATELY recommend this product if you need more storage in less space for your fry pans. Plus it protects their non stick surface. And as an added bonus this rack was the least expensive ...if you are having to watch your pennys like we are :0)

I concur with some other reviewers. The slots are too narrow to accommodate any pan more than about an inch in depth. I was hoping this would work for me and plan to return it to Amazon as I have a couple large pans that are simply too deep.That being said, if your pans COULD fit this, I think it would work very well, as it's cheap and sturdy.

As stated previously by other buyers, the rack is too small for my set of Calphalon pans. At the very best it will fit a 10" omelet pan on the very bottom and it can't be too deep. It definitely will not fit a 12" pan. I took the word of the one person who stated it worked for larger pans and they are wrong. Returning to Amazon.

before buying this, I did read some reviews saying it's too small,and it turns out that it can only carry my smallest ones,well,I still can use it but just not as what I wanted

This is a great organizer but don't bother if you have pans that are incredibly deep. I can use this for my smaller pans and lids but not the big frying pans.
