It works but.....
Originally gave this 2 stars as it wasn't clear how you transferred the photos, now after a little bit of internet research it works. It's a shame the makers couldn't do a little bit of explaining as it would have saved a lot of frustration & more than likely a few more stars from their customers!!Each picture or video must be in a sub folder of the DCIM folder. This sub folder must be 8 digits long i.e. 1234ABCD.jpeg. as this is (apparently) the camera format. Once done the IPAD will recognise \\DCIM\A1B2C3D4\abcdefgh.jpeg, it's as simple as that. Gave it 5 stars as now it works, it's good value for money, gave it 1 star for (obviously) ease of use, and 4 stars as it is lightweight.

Not plug and play
Bought this to transfer video and photos from waterproof camera I plan to use on holiday. I can’t get it to work at all, the photos can be read off laptop but when I use this plug and play (lol) it shows nothing, the small print in the instructions mention changing folder names and file names, how can I do this? No instructions for this plus as it can’t be done from the camera I will have to change the files on the card on a pc so defeating the object of it auto importing.If there is a solution to this please advise ASAP as it will be returned by end of week if no help

Fitting the SD card was a bit hit and miss, but it did work.

Only used it a couple of times but easy to use and satisfied with product,reasonably priced.

Easy to use
Just connect and the app opens. Worked straight away on my iPad. However on my iPhone it didn’t spring into action. I then realised my case (a jelly type back only affair) was stopping the connector from going in fully. I disconnect it then erased phone from bottom end of case and all was well.

Brilliant piece of kit .
Handy piece of kit to have . Handy for downloading the photos off my field camera straight to iPad . Simple to use no problems whatsoever.
