TEMO1/4 inch (6.3mm) Solid Carbide Broken Taps Drill Extractor

As a diesel mechanic I come across my fair share of broken bolts, and I always dread trying to drill them out because I know inevitably I’m going to break off a drill bit making the situation 10 times worse. That is precisely what happened a couple weeks ago and was searching for a diamond drill bit when I came across this one. I figured it was worth a try and I could not be any happier with its performance. It slowly but surely ate the broken drill bit with ease and the cutting edges still looks brand new. I don’t often brag on a tool unless It blows me away, and that is what happened with this.

Used to drill out a broken 6-32 tap and it did the job well.

Had a broken bit in bolt, purchased hoping maybe, nope, broken in 2.3 seconds. Had cutting oil and everything, don't recommend, sorry.

When I looked at this thing I never thought it would work. I broke tap off and steel and then I tried everything to get it out but this figured 13 bucks what's the difference. Strapped it in my drill press went real slow at first so they wouldn't walk all over the place got it in the center took a hard bite down metal went everywhere next thing I know I was through the tap. I cleaned all the garbage out of the hole rethread it with another tap being more careful this time and it worked out great.

Tried to use it to remove a broken drill from cast iron. It went through some of it, but quickly rounded off. I'd probably need about 10 of these to remove the whole bit.
