If you need a shorter extension pole for your Gopro this is it. The mount for the Gopro case tightens very tight and doesn't come loose, even after a full day lapping the terrain park. Each section (3 in total) extends and uses a twisting feature to tighten. Build quality is impressive for the price. Nice grip about the same diameter of a traditional bicycle handlebar grip. If I had to purchase another <30" pole, I'd choose this again! *Picture is extended at 45cm.

Very solid monopod, it isn't super long but I never need one that goes out a full meter further than my arm. Have yet to try it in water so I am not sure about that yet but otherwise works great with my GoPro***have now used it I the water and it completely broke apart. The pieces that slide out were getting completely stuck and then a bunch of smaller pieces just broke off. The aluminum end just popped off because it was just glued on and not actually screwed onto anything.***

bought this pole for my GoPro HERO 4 and took it to the beach with me to go paddle boarding. If anyone has gone paddle boarding before, it requires both hands and basically your whole body. I had the wrist strap on my wrist and tightened it. While I was paddling on the board, my gopro continued to swing around uncontrollably until the wrist strap BROKE. My GoPro FELL into deep ocean water, and sunk too quickly for me to catch! Now it's lost forever in the ocean because of this stupid wrist-let strap. The part that connects onto the GoPro is just a crappy plastic string which got worn down due to the sharp corners on this pole, and caused me to lose my $400 brand new GoPro that I've had less than a month. TERRIBLE!!

Waterproof= yes and no, its plastic and aluminum so it doesn't matter, no rust issues. Does water get into the thing, YESStrong= yes and no, Its perfect until you put it in saltwater and the handle comes unglued. I glued mine back with superglue now its perfect.Light= yes super lightGood hand grip= the best!Quality lanyard= the best!Does it feel quality= Yes!Do the sections lock strong=Yes!Would you buy it again= yes and no, if I had a problem with fixing the handle with better glue then no. I am a tinkerer and it doesn't bother me

It was great but it broke the first day I had it. Not sure what happened.

This pole for my gopro is exactly what I needed; the price was more appealing than gopro's model of the extendable pole. Sturdy and holding up so far with lots of use snowboarding. Great product.

Showed use after first time used. Broke after third use, handle came apart (unglued!!) and I nearly lost my GoPro. Would not purchase again nor recommend.

I liked the grip of the handle and how it's made of plastic so I could take it snorkeling. I haven't even taken pictures with my GoPro yet and this happens.Save yourself some time and money and buy a legit branded stick.Unfortunately, I can't rate it lower than 1 star.
