I like it, but this will be my backup - 3 case review
There are a lot of cases out there and I have watched a lot of reviews looking for what I wanted. What I was looking to duplicate on my mini retina was the apple smart case that I have for my iPad 3. I love that case: slim, good viewing angles, as much protection as cloth can give (that smart case is not the current model but the previous model that has a trifold that folds back on itself...sorry if that is not descriptive enough.) But for anyone who has seen the new smart case where the magnet is in the tip and when you fold it back for the different viewing angles the cover attaches only by the tip out of the outer edge, well that smart case collapses very easily and I hate it. I don't know why they changed a good thing. So that was kind of my "goal" for my search on my mini. The 3 cases I have bought and am reviewing here are 2 casecrowns: CaseCrown Bold Standby Pro (with corner protection), The CaseCrown Bold Trifold case, and the Moshi Versacover. I started off with the Moshi and it is a great case. Slim, protects it, does everything a case should do. Only thing I didn't like was the typing angle was very steep. You had to bring the mini to the edge of a table so that your arms could hang off the edge to make the right angle so you could type on it. Oh and also the sleep/wake button on top is not cut 100% correct but still functions fine. It is a very well made case, good materials overall, if you like that crazy folding (which is very simple) for the different angles and want the amazon tablet style case, then I would recommend it. It is still a backup for me and a case I will keep.So after using Moshi for a couple weeks I tried to find something that had a better typing angle and one where the case (when folded) would go the length of the ipad so that if it was on your lap it would sit fairly flat. I purchased both casecrowns as the same time: 2 casecrowns: CaseCrown Bold Standby Pro (with corner protection), The CaseCrown Bold Trifold case because the two together were still less than the Moshi cover. So figured why not because I liked the trifold of the one case but wanted the corner protection of the other case.Long story short, while the Bold Trifold is nice, the Bold Standby Pro is an upgrade in nearly every way and will be the one I use primarily on my mini retina. Both are well made, but the material on the Bold standby pro is nicer, I love the magnets on both sides to use as a smart cover as well as the magnet on the back when the case is open to keep the back flap down (a handy feature on the moshi as well) (the trifold does not have a magnet on the back to help keep the flap down when holding in one hand). The corner protection is really just a movement of the where the seams are on the case but it feels more secure in there with the seams around the corners. And to top it off the handstrap on the back will be handy when holding in one hand for reading. Note on handstrap holding - the magnet is not powerful enough to overcome the weight of the ipad if you move your hand swiftly so the magnet will "let go" of the front cover. Nothing wrong with that because i didn't expect that magnet to overcome that but just a warning for people's expectations. Just align the ipad back with the back-cover and the magnet will hold them together fine with little or no motion while reading. There is a normal chemical type smell to the new product on both the CaseCrown cases that was expected from probably the gluing process. But I took the mini out and let the case air out overnight and the smell was gone by morning. If I could do them all over again I would just get the Bold Standby Pro and maybe the Moshi. But it's not even worth the shipping to send it back so now I have 3. Overall, I am really happy with the CaseCrown Bold Standby Pro for my iPad Mini Retina.

Mini Case
I was looking for a good functional case for my wifes I-Pad Mini at a reasonable price. There was a lot to choose from. All had the the same basic funtionality but the price range was rediculous Average $20-$500.Luckily, I found your case on the Amazon web site with the funtionality and a great price, basically got it for the shipping and handling!I ordered the black, and of course my wife wanted the pink. So,the price was so good and I missed revising my order so I just ordered another, no need to return black. hope this helps defray a little of the cost. Thanks

Great Keyboard!
Just what the iPad mini needs. This keyboard really does the job. The only minor complaint is that you need to be careful when closing the case as it can let the iPad come loose and fall. Not a huge deal, just needs watching. It works really well to not even attach the keyboard but rather to use it next to the iPad if working where that is not a problem. Otherwise the keyboard is a great addition and makes the iPad much more convenient.

Bang for a buck
I really did not expect this case to be this nice for the low price I paid. It is attractive and durable. Another plus is that it fits so well, I can use the camera with ease, something no other case allowed for. Downsides are...hard to turn the volume down or up due to case design, but not impossible. Also, the stand is not sturdy, but since I don't use that much it is no big deal. For five or so bucks, you really can't beat it!

Great price for a great case
Love the purple color! Was torn between the red and purple, might order the red as well! Great case, well made quality. I know it's not designed for protection, but for the iPad mini it corners are just a little longer to give some cushion from dropping. Sits at about a 60 degree angle - perfect. Only thing con is the built in magnet for sleep doesn't always work. I think it might be because the magnet isn't really strong.

Cover works well as stand
Pleased with this case, particularly how well the trifold works as a stand. The price was very affordable, and it protects my iPad sufficiently. The magnetic cover has also worked consistently to shut off the device when it is closed.Previously, I had the Apple iPad smart case. I prefer the aesthetic of the smart case, but the trifold cover does not work well and the iPad often falls. The CaseCrown design is much stronger, and it's a very sturdy stand in either position. I would highly recommend this case if you want to have a stand that is good for traveling.

The case I needed
Keeps iPad from taking heavy damage, texture is great, and being able to transform this into a stand is great for video streaming. It sounds like most cases, but most cases are asking for prices I'm unwilling to pay. This does everything you would expect, including the sleep/wake feature, and the price is perfect. I highly recommend this. You don't need any other case.

Super cute.
I've had this case for about a week now, and I really like it. It fits my iPad mini (with retina display) perfectly. The cover folds perfectly into the stand. No issues with it falling over or not holding the weight of the iPad. the magnetic closures close securely and the iPad turns off when the cover is closed. Can't attest to how well it protects it. Haven't dropped it or anything. The shade of purple is also very pretty.
